The good is it’s spacious. It’s three stories so there is a lot of space/privacy for all. It’s also an excellent location... ample parking. The game room is fun- we enjoyed the foosball. There are lots of TVs around, too (if you are into that!). The outside area by the hot tub is also nice... a pretty table with lots of seating.

The bad is it’s a bit dated. The upgrades they’ve made are super amateur/pieced together. Notice the kitchen counters that were painted and then filled with resin on top. I like the idea- it’s clever! But it wasn’t done well- you can see residual resin drips coming off the counters. The house needs some serious paint, too. And the hot tub leaks all over the patio. Finally, the house has a pretty noticeable musty odor. And the yard is a mess!

I would stay here again though.... for all of the reasons listed above in my “good” category. It just needs a bit of TLC.

I’d give this house 3.5 stars if I could. But since I can’t, I’m giving it 4 for the price/location/spaciousness.

We had two families staying (total 10 people) and had ample space for both comfortably. Kitchen is well stocked, just bring Tupperware or ziplocs for leftovers. Quick walk to the beach and removed from the busy areas.

Beautiful house, very quaint. Stayed with my family and had an amazing time here, very close to the beach. Very excited to come and stay again in the future!!

Plenty of space. Well-stocked kitchen equipment.

This house did a very good job of advertising as a well maintained home but is FALSELY ADVERTISED. The kitchen was not well stocked. The upstairs toilet was broken. The downstairs toilet had a loose fitting seat. The hot tub was leaking a lot. The house smelled of mildew upon entering & throughout. The seal on the upstairs shower appeared to have black mold growing in it. The house advertised dog & kid friendly, however there was no backyard grass & the little bit that was fenced had broken slats & a chain link gate that anyone could easily open & access the backyard. The stairs were creaky & steep (due to the old age of the house) which did not make it child friendly at all. The carpet in the upstairs bathroom was not tacked down & a huge trip hazard. The couches & chairs were in poor condition & the carpet did not appear to be cleaned, ever. This house presented a large space for multiple families but other than that & it’s location, it was NOT WORTH THE MONEY. We felt more like we were camping than staying in a rental home that we paid ALOT for. NOT WORTH THE MONEY THEY CHARGE!!!

Note: if you read previous reviews, they claim these things have been fixed, but nothing has been done!!!
Manager response:
We are very sorry to read you did not enjoy your time here. The 'backyard' you referenced in your review is meant to be blocked off, so we will ensure the gate is locked. There is unfenced yard space by the patio and spa. The hot tub was fixed a couple months ago, but we will schedule an inspection. Every bathroom has been scrubbed down with bleach, and the carpets were professionally shampooed in August. The rug has been taped down, the light switch in the bedroom basement has been fixed, and the toilets are working properly. Thank you!

We loved all the bathrooms and large amount of space. The layout is a little strange but overall a good beach house for a large group.
