The house was clean, very roomy and had an outstanding back yard, with a pool, spa and a putting green. Very comfortable place for a restful holiday for two people. Unfortunately, we had company a couple of times during our stay and the guest rooms don’t work. The two guest rooms have comfortable beds but that’s it. No dressers or a chest of drawers. Our guests had to live out of their suitcases rather than unpacking. I was also very surprised to see that there are also no bedroom lamps and you need to turn on the overhead lights if you need to move around the room. Each room has overhead tri-lights and they are as bright as the noon day sun when you turn them on. We found one small desk lamp and moved that to the main bedroom. There are also no lamps in the living room or TV room. We found an old floor lamp and moved that from room to room as needed so we managed. Such a nice house. Very surprising that the bedrooms are so sparsely furnished. We would like to come back to the house again but not if we are unable to comfortably house any guests.

Pros: Over all, our stay was very comfortable since the house is big, roomy for just the two of us!! The kitchen is furnished with plenty of pots/pans/baking dishes, and the pans we used, cleaned up nicely, food didn't stick (major points!), plenty of dishes, including plastic ones for outside. The king bed was comfortable, the master shower is very nice. Like I said, it was comfortable for getting away after the holiday mayhem!! The neighborhood is lovely, quiet (just what we wanted), clean, friendly neighbors saying hello when we took our walks. There's a grocery store nearby, a Starbucks...comfy stuff...
Cons: The sofas are not that comfortable, kinda hard, kinda small for my tall husband...we tried the living room sofa and didn't like it at all, but we don't live there and didn't use that room. I managed okay sitting with pillows around me in the "den". There is a problem with the sliding door from the TV room (great room? den?); we opened it to go outside and then it wouldn't lock. When I called, I was told "my mom never got it fixed and that's how we lived with it"...duh...not us! Before the maintenance man called, my husband had fixed it and then we didn't use it again. I read something about the hot water taking a long time to get to the master bathroom, but we just turned it on maybe five minutes before entering the shower and it was great...not a deal breaker. However, I was greatly disappointed to find there was no cable on the TV as listed. There is an instruction sheet that explains "there isn't cable as listed" but that's after we rented the house. Cable was a major selling point as I saw houses listed with smart TVs and that's not what we wanted. I enjoy watching TV in my "down time" and didn't have it. Plus the TV placement is perfect for watching while preparing lunch/dinner...IF you have something to watch. Luckily, we took a DVD player and a few DVDs...
Like I said, over all, it was a restful stay in a nice home, well kept (except for that sliding door!), clean...if they take care of those few things, list the house as it really is, you should enjoy it...
