No internet service for 2 1/2 of the three days we were there, poorly stocked kitchen cooking basics, no book explaining details of the home

It was slighty dirty with cobb webs and we found a few roaches and the doors didnt all open leading outside and the shower in the middle room was scary felt like it was going to brake but the house was beautiful beds were comfy and it was a nice and rexaling vacation

We always love our time at Seabrook. The house on The Bent Twig was perfect for our family of seven, ages ranging from 17 to 72. Your communication was clear and timely.

The house had not been swept and it appeared the carpets had not been vacuumed since I found loose stuff on the carpet. We found 2 dead cock roaches on the kitchen floor, one live one in the kitchen cabinets, and a live one in the shower. The deck and furniture were covered with cobwebs. Very apparent that no one sprays for bugs. Cobwebs on outside of front windows too. Bugs in the corner of the living room. Our sheets were very thin and rough. No mattress covers. Very rough toilet paper. House was very comfortable however with nice dishes/utensils, etc. Well stocked kitchen. Nice laundry appliances. This would be a nice rental with a little attention to details.

The rental was ok. Needs to be updated. Maybe little bit bigger tv's, the bedroom mattress looked like it had blood stains. The storm door fell off. The outdoor grill worked but you have to hold a lighter to the propane to get it lit because the igniter doesnt work. But besides these issues we enjoyed our stay. We will be back but possibly diffrent rental.

Only because the ice maker was not working, the washer was not easy to start & it was not going through the cycles properly.

The place was nice and spacious. However, there was an overwhelming musty smell. I had to rewash all of our clothing when we got home. That's how powerful it was. There were some little things like no batteries in the DVD/Blu-ray remote. And I feel like toilet paper should be supplied...not just an initial start. If someone is staying a week, there should be toilet paper for a week. I understand having to buy stuff like paper towels, laundry and dishwashing detergent, but toilet paper should be a given. If you don't want people stealing it, then leave an initial supply of 2 rolls per bathroom and have guests call for extra. Also, the owner should know that one of the upper bunks is missing a board underneath and it really should be replaced. Lastly, a couple beach chairs would be nice. I know you can rent them. That is a real inconvenience. I have been coming to Seabrook for over 2 decades and usually, places I have stayed have had a couple beach chairs for guests to use. Again, if stealing is a concern, just warn guests that they will be charged for missing or damaged chairs. I know this is a lot. Overall, it was a good stay, just very musty smelling and it's a matter of taking care of small things that could be easily addressed. Oh, and finally, a checkout time of 10am is ridiculous. I know check in time is 4pm. But, it doesn't take 6 hours to clean an empty house. I would have been much more generous in helping strip beds and running/emptying dishwasher if checkout time was later. And give people a window! Say, between 10am and 11am. It's stressful vacating a house, but your policies are ridiculous.
