Convenient to lake and trail around the lake. No washer and dryer in unit.

This place was recently remodeled and stepping into it is like being on the IKEA showroom floor. It was very clean and all appliances, kitchenware, cups, plates, etc. seemed brand new. In fact, the coffee pot and toaster had never been used. I ran the coffee pot with just water a few times to give it a good rinse.

The bedroom has a large bed and it was fairly comfortable. The furniture was also brand new. Packaging, stickers, etc. were noticeable but that was fine.

The window sill even had those cute (fake) IKEA plants on it.

The pop-out bed (IKEA and also brand new) was brutally uncomfortable. Not for adults who want, need, and/or appreciate sleep.

The only complaint was there was no parking pass on arrival in the unit. Knowing that the condo complex requires a parking pass - I was worried that we were going to get a ticket. I know parking is scarce. When I called vacasa - they told me they would reach out to the property manager. A few mins later (good response time) I received a text saying, 'she would bring a pass in the morning.' She continues, 'you should be fine without a pass tonight. As long as you are parked in the parking lot you will be fine.'

This caused me some anxiety and vacasa would not confirm that they would cover the ticket fees if I received one. The next day, I received a 'warning note' on my vehicle saying we need a pass, etc.

Later that morning (we were already skiing), the property manager dropped off the parking passes and we were fine. That was unnecessary angst that could have and should have been avoided. My thought... The unit (being brand new) was missing the parking passes since they forgot and had not made them yet.

Luckily, for future travelers, I'm certain they will stash a pass somewhere in the unit so this would likely not happen again. Glad to have taken one for the team here.

My last piece of advice is for y'all to put up a curtain on the front door! Since we were 4 people (sleeping on the pop-out) - there was little privacy to the outside world. The unit next door (going through a remodel right now) already had shades on the window and front door. Do what they did since it will make your guests more comfortable, have privacy, and may even choose to return.

Maybe I would return but in such a hot (rental) market - I would rather get a place with more privacy and a more comfortable 2nd bed.
