We lived the spaciousness of the home. Most importantly, the windows and views from every direction. The stay with the family and friends was perfect!
Beautiful house! Nice hot tub on the deck!
Beautiful home with all of the comforts of home.
A well appointed home, perfectly situated in the dunes around secluded buzzards bay.
This was our second weekend stay at this home. We love it for its location and views. We stay unplugged, eat in, walk the beach and talk talk talk. Very relaxing. Restaurants, shopping and yoga are nearby if desired.
We rented this house for Thanksgiving. Overall good experience on the island for the off-season. Great little neighborhood to walk around, nearby beaches and easy access to Falmouth, Woods Hole, and the Islands. House was a good fit for our 3 families, but a few quirks left us wanting to make it great (see other comments). We recommend.
The setting could not be any more breath-taking, the sunsets viewed from the balcony were the most stunning we've ever seen, the four bedrooms and three baths were well furnished, the large kitchen with it's granite top counters was more than adequate for cooking meals for large numbers of persons, the large open areas both down and upstairs were wonderful for family conversations and putting puzzles together, the hot tub was fabulous each evening, and the many porches on all sides of the home made for wonderful gazing out over the water. Would definitely return for fall or spring visits.
The one blemish, and a big one, is the tiny 24 inch analog TV hidden in a little cubby in the upstairs open area. This beautiful home calls out loudly for two large screen high definition TVs, one in each of the two large open areas - a very small investment considering the value of this beautiful facility.
We had a wonderful stay at this house. The views were unbelievable, the private beach was amazing and great for sea glass hunting. We had 6 adults and 4 children in our group and the space was perfect. The kitchen was very well equipped. I would recommend this house highly.
I was disappointed that after paying almost $2000 for the weekend that the condition of the home wouldn't have been better. The screens were ripped, window has heavy dirt inside, upstairs cushions dirty , rugs stained. The most upsetting part was the hot tub was disgusting filled with yellowing filthy sweater. Also, the only tv is no bigger than a computer monitor . This made it difficult to watch tv during a rainy day for a group of six . All the doors slam shut . The view from the kitchen is beautiful of the ocean. The lArger deck area faces the neighbors.
We are disappointed to see this guest did not have a better experience while staying in this home. The screen on the back door has a very small tear in it, but it is at the bottom and does not affect the function of the door or the screen. The upstairs cushions are a little threadbare, not stained. The rugs upstairs have some small stains, but it is nothing that would be considered unsavory. Since this is a beach house the owner have chosen to keep it simple and beachy, not luxurious. This is also why they keep the smaller TV: they want the focus on the beach views. The windows do get salt stained daily, and unless they are cleaned daily will show the salt from the ocean. Thanks!
This house and location was great joy for me and my family ,we have great time we love the location ,Your outside shower room was great for cite surf family
We will be back next year .

We stayed here for a girls weekend and were WOWED by the property. The pictures are beautiful but they do not do this property justice. From the sunset viewings each night on the porch, to the private beach access, this property is one of a kind. The house itself is gorgeous and we wished we could have stayed longer. We all went away saying that we would love to come back next year. Book this house! It's so amazing.
This house is worth a serious look, the sun comes up on one side of it and sets like a broadway show every night on the other. The private little island it is located on ensures your family will have a very private, crowd free experience.
Had a great time. Very safe neighborhood. Easy to get to whale watch, Woods Hole and restaurants.
We very much enjoyed our trip to the cape, but "Beauty on the Beach" was more like a ship wreck. The home is incredibly outdated and not well maintained. We had numerous issues: the house furnishings are not as pictured, the dining table has been replaced with a card table that does not seat 8; not all windows function properly, nor are all the screens in good order leading to pest issues such as cobwebs and spiders throughout (mainly bathrooms); shower doors are in disrepair; interior doors routinely rattle or slam shut; kitchen cabinets are held closed with rubber bands -- this is not at all a property worth commanding this price point.
On a more positive note, the community and surrounding area is gorgeous; the view and sunsets breathtaking; this location is a very convenient spot if your desire is to explore the cape. Don't miss The Lobster Trap patio seating and visiting Chatham during your stay.
We are sorry to see this guest was so disappointed with this rental, especially since they were notified of some of these issues beforehand. The table was broken prior to their stay and we were unable to get it fixed for two more weeks. At this point the table has been repaired. The windows get a little sticky in the humid August weather, but they do work. This property is on an island and consequently gets a lot of wind. This causes doors to slam and windows to whistle and rattle. This is also why some cabinets are held closed with rubber bands.
Great house, perfect for a relaxing vacation!!
Beautiful home in gorgeous quiet area!
The views are amazing, especially from the roomy second floor sitting area. Bedrooms are roomy. Rest of island has high-end vacation homes so you're in excellent company.
Great location, super views, very private. Be sure to bring some soap for the dishwasher, only two tablets were provided for a weeks stay. Will also need paper products (napkins, toilet paper, tissues, etc.) Be sure to secure the covers of the trash bins with a heavy weight as the raccoons/foxes are very adept at getting into the trash. A bit challenging to find the driveway, it is a gravel driveway located between two homes. Cannot beat the views or the sunsets. ENJOY!
The house was beautiful and very clean, see all of our suggestions above in the suggestion box
This house was beautiful and had everything we could ever need!
House was amazing, fun, and plenty of room to spread out in.
I really have nothing but great things to say about this home, the area in which it is located, and VACASA's property manager Daniel! The home was clean and well taken care of. We used the hot tub and Kayaks and gorgeous fireplace. The location was perfect for my 3 kids to kayak, we only wish it was a tad warmer. The home had everything we needed from an abundance of towels, wet suits, rain jackets, umbrella's to enough kitchenware needed to cook a Lobster meal and entertaining our friends one evening. The home is on a little island of gorgeous homes in Falmouth. I felt perfectly safe with my 3 kids exploring the island. (17,13 & 10). The property manager was friendly and patient. We bugged him daily about how to commute to Boston & Martha's Vineyard, where to launch the Kayaks, and where to find the best restaurants for our "Foodie" palate. Daniel was very patient and quick to respond. You can tell he is very proud of the beautiful town in which he lives.
For breakfast I would suggest the Pickle Jar and/or the Large French bakery. The candy/chocolate shop was just amazing with all the chocolate made on site! Daniel suggested Bleu (french cuisine) in Mashpee and it happened to be one of the best meals I have ever enjoyed. We did journey to Boston, it only took about 1.5 hours (middle of the day during the week) We went to Rino's for the homeade "Lobstah" ravioli I had been waiting 5 years to enjoy after seeing it on the Food Network. Totally worth the ride and price. We also had to stop at Mikes Pastries for their version of the Lobster tail (pastry) - Although they are famous for the cannoli's which are also to die for! All in All, my family is still thanking me for our spring break trip.
There was a mild snafu when the owner had scheduled some work to be done on the house while we were there. We called Vacasa, and the representative Daniel came over immediately, got everything fixed to our satisfaction, and made sure we were happy. What could have been a flaw in our otherwise lovely weekend turned out to be the thing that impressed us the most. The best service sometimes happens when things go awry, and this was definitely the case for us.
This was a PERFECT house for our girls weekend in January. We had a wonderful time, We walked all around the island, we ate at a few local spots and we enjoyed late nights playing games and hanging at the house. All the views were spectacular! It must be INCREDIBLE in the Summer months. I highly recommend it!! Plenty of room for all to hang out together and spaces if you need a little private time.

What a perfect place to spend New Year's weekend! House was gorgeous and all of the couples we traveled with loved it as well! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets made the freezing weather not even noticeable. Can't wait to stay here again!
This property is spectacular. It is clear that the family who owns it and makes it available to people like us does so with the hope that our experience will match their own in this beautiful place.
The house is spotless and gorgeous. The beds are extremely comfortable. The water pressure in the showers is to die for. The hot tub on the back deck on a cold winter night under the stars is priceless. The wood burning fireplace and the ambiance of the family space around it is perfect.
The view from every window, and there are many, is like being on a movie set and I'll call the movie Paradise Island. All this and set in a location that is hard to describe. Sandy beaches that put Florida to shame; a rocky coast and scenery that could make a Maine resident love Massachusetts; privacy and elegance and solitude that make this a perfect romantic getaway or a perfect family gathering spot.
Outstanding breakfast places like the West Falmouth market and top shelf restaurants like the C Star all within a five minute drive. A couple of miles to Woodshole and the day trip ferry to Martha's Vineyard.
Honestly we use Vacasa and VRBO regularly and not many places have rivaled this place.
The owners and the management company have made a gem available to us all and we hope you get to experience it and we hope they let us come back again.

We had a wonderful time. The views were amazing and it was a perfect setting for our getaway.
Best girls weekend house yet! So close to the ocean/beach, great paths for an early morning run or walk, the hot tub was extremely clean and efficient. Great location for shopping during the day and many spots for a happy hour appetizer or drink. We brought in our big meals and the kitchen was perfectly appointed with everything we needed! The bedrooms and bathrooms were so clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be booking for next years Girls Weekend for sure!
This home's views are incredible, the space inviting and the feeling indescribable. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to enjoy the cape and the ocean views. Vacasa made everything so easy and the home was spotless and well appointed. Thanks to the owner for renting this home, was a treat that I will not soon forget.

I rented this house for a weekend away with members of my health & fitness team and could not have been more pleased with the location, the cleanliness, and the overall weekend. The home is more beautiful in person, with easy access to the ocean (especially if you're there in the summer season!) The space is great for gathering as a group, and has plenty of sheets/towels to accommodate 10 guests. Our adults didn't even mind sleeping in the top bunks as we needed the extra beds!
Added bonus, the surround sound speaker system which you are able to connect to your iPhone for personally favored music!
The house, in November, is incredibly private - we felt like we were the only ones on this "island"! The kitchen is stocked with cooking needs, some new appliances, and plenty of prep space for in-house meal prep. Perhaps bring your own pans, as the ones there currently are a bit 'over-used'.
Everyone was in love with the house as they arrived, and enjoyed a nice relaxing soak in the hot tub while the ocean winds were howling. It was the perfect spot for a Fall getaway! I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a semiprivate escape with an ocean front view to wake up to.
Thanks for the stay, Vacasa!

The fact that my family was from Fl and up here for our daughters wedding. All eight of them loved the property and area. The house is great, perfect location.
This is an exceptional property. It is situated in dunes overlooking Buzzards Bay, which faces west and gets beautiful sunsets (not common on most east-facing NewEngland beaches). While it has a traditional shingle style look from the exterior, the interior is more contemporary, with a dramatic staircase, lots of granite, beautiful wood floors and tasteful furnishings. Multiple decks overlook the water and the landscape, as well as the other multi-million dollar homes that are your neighbors. It's hard to say what is more impressive. ...the views or the house itself.
A well-appointed kitchen, room to spread out with common areas on both floors, lots of deck space, comfortable beds , hot tub and decent sound system all add to the appeal. Well suited for entertaining.
Chapoquoit Island and West Falmouth are quintessential Cape Cod. Main Street in Falmouth Village is as nice as you'll find anywhere, with plenty of nice restaurants and shops, though lower priced establishments are also nearby, including supermarkets. Bike path is nearby and will take you to Falmouth or on to Wood'sHole, whether you are walking or biking. The Vineyard is also a short ferry ride away .
This is a first class property (our guests all agree) that allows you to experience the Cape in high style. We (and they) will be back !!!

Beautiful home, and location.

Very nice location and house!
Excellent house and location. Our first experience with Vacasa was outstanding! Would love to come again!
Adults and children loved the house and the location and views. Beautiful, functional and cozy, we will definitely be back! Thanks Vacasa for making this an easy experience. Oh, and beach was pristine. Water was too cold to go in when we went in April, but there was good sea glass hunting on the beautiful white sand beach.
This house met and exceeded our expectations which takes a lot with 7 picky women. The sunset over the ocean was absolutely unbeatable and made the whole weekend worth it. The hot tub was a nice added bonus and was super clean and easy to operate as well.
The doors were missing the glass, there were ants all over the kitchen, the walls were filthy not very well maintained, still gorgeous views and a great space.
We are disappointed to see that this guest did not have a more perfect stay. The Property Manager will address the glass and ants, and housekeeping will be sure to scrub the walls. This guest was refunded for their inconveniences.
Beauty and the Beach is gorgeous home set on a stunning piece of property. It is large and tastefully decorated.
Everything was perfect for our stay. I was welcome over the phone and given a phone number for assistance. The house was beautiful and everything was perfect. Would love to stay again in the future.
Amazing area. Great house. View of the bay was spectacular. Exploring the area was easy and fun.
A group of 8 of us girls stayed at the house for a girls weekend. This house was perfect for us! 4 large bedrooms and it slept 10. The kitchen has everything you need an opens up to the dining room with large table. Table was great for dinners and playing games. The upstairs tv nook was perfect to relax in! We loved the hot tub too! The views from the home are amazing and the sunsets were gorgeous! Anna who is the booking agent was fabulous and answered my calls when I had a question. Would not hesitate to book again!
Beautiful property and great location, I highly recommend!!
We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for the recommendation to the Chappaquoit Grille, as well!
