This recently refurbished house has been painted from top to bottom and boasts new leather living room furniture, new window treatments, and additional kitchen appliances.

Beautifully situated in the heart of Cape Neddick, this home is the perfect place for families who want to enjoy Short Sands Beach less than one mile away. You'll also be just a short walk from the iconic Nubble Light, Dunne's Ice Cream, and one mile from the lovely expanse of Long Sands Beach.

Your vacation begins in the second-floor living space, where you'll find plush leather furniture for relaxing. Spend your days strolling along the beach and come home to use the WiFi to post a few photos or watch a movie on one of the four flatscreen cable TVs.

Pick up some fresh Maine blueberries at the York Farmers Market and use them to prepare pancakes each morning in the well-equipped kitchen. You'll have modern appliances, seating for three sous chefs at the counter, and a dishwasher to help clean up. The dining room also offers space for six guests.

After breakfast, you can walk down to the beach, curl up with a good book on the shaded deck, or head up to the roof terrace to sunbathe with ocean and lighthouse views. You'll also have a gas grill on the porch for easy afternoon cookouts when everyone returns home from the beach.

With five bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, the Nubble Light Beach House will accommodate as many as nine guests. You'll find four bedrooms with a queen-size bed apiece, as well as a cozy kid-size room with a twin bed. The upstairs family room also features two futons, a TV, and lovely ocean views.

And don't worry about bringing the salt and sand home with you - this home has a private washer/dryer to ensure that the beach stays where it belongs.

Whether you're a first time visitor to Maine or planning an annual getaway, York offers the perfect glimpse of summer in New England. Take a walk over to Long Sands Beach to find nearly two miles of glistening sand, or enjoy the public playground, boardwalk, and basketball courts at the smaller Short Sands Beach.

If you're timing your visit for July or August, you can attend the craft fair and softball tournament that come with York Days. You'll also be just one mile from York's Wild Kingdom, the zoo and amusement park that offers fun for all ages.

Walking distance to nubble light , slept everyone comfortably. Plenty of space and had all the accommodations. The top deck is definitely the highlight, amazing view of the ocean and lighthouse. Close to Ogunquit too. Clean and great space , would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house was clean and nice. The rental fee was totally doable. We loved our week here for my 70th birthday. Thanks for taking care of us

House is great and the location was great also! Only 2 drawbacks to the house/management no AC made the night too warm to sleep... also i paid a $350 cleaning fee and the suggested that we do a load of wash before we leave of the towels we used and run the dishwasher with the dishes we used .. also sweep up the house. We did all of the above mentioned so they just changed the sheets for the $350??

This house was perfect for our occasion - a bachelorette weekend. It was clean, had all the basics, great deck, and walking distance to Nubble and ice cream at Dunne's. It was a bit far to walk to the beach, and not great sidewalks on the roads around Nubble, but definitely doable if you wear good shoes and aren't lugging a bunch of beach stuff.

My friends and I came here for a weekend getaway. The house was so spacious and open. We LOVED the roof deck. We were even able to check in early, which made cooking and preparing so much easier.

Kevin M. Oct 2017 just as beautiful, and if you hit the weather right... you end up with an amazing weekend. Great house in a very cool location. Walk to Nubble for sunrise, explore the area. Plenty of space inside to stretch out. Highly recommend.

We booked this house for a weekend in Maine with friends and really enjoyed it. It was a big, well-equipped house (with a grill, which was important to us) and made it very easy for a group of us to socialize in a group of 9. The living room and dining room in particular had plenty of space and seating for us all. That being said, there are some weird quirks - the top-floor room did not have blinds/curtains so it got bright very early in the morning, and though the view from the roof deck is nice, the sign was unclear as to whether we were allowed to be out there.

All in all, it's a good place to stay!
Manager response:
We have recommended to the owner that they install blinds on the third floor, and we have updated information to reflect guests can use the deck. Thank you!

We enjoyed our five day stay very much and quite pleased with the Beach House plus the beds were very comfortable which is so important. Sitting at the very top on the upper deck, looking at the Nubble Light House, one can see why the Nubble Light Beach House was so named. Shopping is close by as well as the beaches and ice cream is the best at Dunne's. The beds were also very comfortable We will most certainly stay here again.

I was very disappointed with the property. My boyfriend and I have stayed at quite a few properties with air bnb and home away, and usually it really feels like someone's cozy home! This property was the first one to feel like a forgotten dirty motel. There was black mold in the shower, broken chairs and couches, lackluster art in every room, and uncomfortable mismatched ancient furniture to top it off. The sheets hurt my skin and the beds felt like cardboard atop plywood. Entertainment incuded boasted basic cable, books, and board games from 1968. The price was fine, but then they charged over $100 a night in fees, and they can't even have the decency to explain what they're for! I will not be back here soon.
Manager response:
Housekeeper inspected the home and was unable to find any mold or broken couches. They did locate one cracked kitchen chair which has been removed and will be replaced shortly. We wish the guest would have contacted us right away about any cleanliness issues so we could have sent housekeeping back to address them. The owner will be looking into refreshing the linens and making other updates once they are able to visit the home. Thank you!
