Worked great for out group of 22.
Living area and kitchen are big and comfortable with a nice view. Bedrooms are small but beds are comfortable except the rollaways, which are not really usable. The house is a bit hard to find as it’s in a new development on the south side of town.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Nice size home for big groups.
Fun thing for all ages.
Big fenced yard, nice patio and bbq.
We had a wonderful stay here! There were plenty of rooms for our big family and lots of space for the kids to play and roam. The added bunk bed space was ideal.
We visit Moab every year with a group of 12 or more. This house easily accommodated all of us and had a great view. It was a bit far from town, especially from where we normally stay. Over all great experience with the exception of the mean old lady down the street.
With plenty of sleeping configurations and lots of nooks and crannies for long games of hide-and-seek, this house as a big win! We had family aged 11 months to 67 years and everyone had a fantastic experience.
We watched bunnies hop through the yard, thunderstorms roll in from the back deck, and cooked huge dinners in the spacious kitchen.
Be sure to wear your shoes on the deck as some boards give splinters.
The home was great, you can sleep an army.
The house is situated in a nice area which felt very private, and had wonderful views of the Moab Rim. The master bedroom ha a very large soaking tub which was nice. If you have small kids there is a wonderful little play kitchen inside and a kids play area outside which has a sandbox, swing, climbing area with tiny treehouse, etc. Six bedrooms and many beds and many beds provide for a large group, and the one sleeping area has three sets of bunkbeds and is great for kids.
Large, roomy, had everything we needed. Great place for large groups. Enjoyed games in the backyard. Quiet neighborhood. Close to activities. Washer and dryer use was nice to have.
Home had many nice amenities. Comfortable beds, good appliances, etc. Carpet and ceiling fans could use cleaning.
The sleeping and parking area,s worked well.
This house is exactly as advertised. Great Vistas! Easy access to town, comfortable and convenient.
The property was very clean and very accommodating we came with our son and his 8 children and the two of us. The younger children loved the backyard would definitely recommend this property
Location is a bit out of town, but close to many riding trails. Lots of beds, made for a good place to stay for a large group.
Nice to have a big place to gather. Close to Moab and far enough away to feel secluded.
A group of 10 adults enjoyed the Home. Location is out of town but good for local exploring. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, however seating was very limited. Only 6 chairs at the dining table. Would need a few more folding chairs even to accommodate 10.
This is a great home for children! There is a large fenced yard with a super swing set and play house. There is also a small play kitchen in the lower level. Three bedrooms upstairs have a king and two queens. The king bed was awful as the slats kept falling out and the memory foam mattress was very low on both sides and high in the middle. The downstairs has three bedrooms, all with twin beds. One room has three sets of bunk beds (which 6 little boys loved), however there wasn't a door to that room. That was an issue for others sleeping downstairs as all the rooms are right next to each other. There were plenty of clean linens and towels. The kitchen was quite well stocked with dishes and pans but it sure could use more drinking glasses and also a griddle. There is also an extra fridge in the garage. The location is unique but only about 12 minutes from the heart of Moab. This is a good choice for a house for large groups with children! We did have an awesome time.
The house is located 4 miles from Moab, in remote development with nothing around. The surroundings look rather depressed with only few nice looking houses- this being one of them. Mountain views are obstructed by lesser properties around include what looks like an small warehouse/ large garage adjunct to right side of the property. There is an old deck out back with old table and some chairs. Inside there are 3 bedrooms on first floor- one king with bath, and two quinn's with shared bath in the hall- all rest of the beds (advertising claims property can slip 25...) are at the lower level and double and mostly bunk. The furnishing, carpets, appliances are not a first quality which you could expect when paying $473.60 per night + $593 in various fees..... (5 nights stay). This property is only okay if you are large group (7+) and don't mind driving 10-15 min to town...
We had a group of 15-18 in this home for a week, and it was great. We would definitely rent again. While you could fit 25, it would be awfully cozy. The house is minutes from downtown Moab, so don't worry about being outside of town. It wasn't a problem at all for us. Beautiful views of the mountains and bluffs from the home.
The neighbor across the street has two dogs that they leave outside all the time, and they will help you get an early start to each day by beginning to bark around sunrise.
Stay at this place as a last resort.
enjoyed our stay there had 20 people and everyone had plenty of space, everything was great.
Space to spread out is not a problem with this rental! There is lots of room for large groups including play space for kids. Overall we were happy with the rental but a bunch of small things kept it from being a great experience. The property needs quite a few matainance items to be addressed mainly with the kitchen appliances. The local property manager was as heplful as possible but the items weren't things that could be fixed immediately. The backyard wasn't accessible except from the basement walkout which meant you always had to go through the house to get to it, which was very inconvenient. The outside deck has a number of loose boards that should be replaced to prevent them breaking or from someone tripping. The house is showing some overall wear which is to be expected for a rental property but the upkeep matainance seems to be very minimal. If we had a large group and couldn't find any other accommodations we would rent again but only as a last resort.
The stove has been repaired and work has begun on the deck. Thanks!
Realy nice experience, our group was 20+ people we fit perfectly , definely we whant to came back A+A+
We stayed at Desert View for a family reunion. The house was large enough for all of us. The cousins loved playing on the backyard play set. It was nice to be all together in the same place. The kitchen was large enough so multiple cooks could be there without getting in each other's way.
Desert View is a nice house with a good view. There was plenty of space for all of us (15 adults and children). A few minor housekeeping issues but nothing major.
Had a wonderful stay with a large group, I would definitely stay here again!
House & setting is wonderful. We didn't spend much time at house because we were there to sit around house. To much to see around the area.
The beds were comfy, the house spacious and clean! We loved the downstairs for the kids and the great backyard. Kitchen pots and pans are getting a little old and may need replacing soon.
Overall a perfect house for our family reunion!
We were thrilled to find a place that would accommodate our large family so we could all stay together during our family reunion. The back yard was great for the kids to play in during the times we were at the house. The house had a nice home-y feel to it and fit our family perfectly. Loved staying there!
Our family enjoyed our time in Moab and the house allowed us all to be together.
We had 4 couples and a few kids stay over Presidents' Day. There was plenty of room and plenty to do. The house had all the options we needed and was nothing more than ~10 min outside of downtown Moab. Thanks for a great place to stay!
Several bedrooms for couples and even more bedding for kids. Pleasant stay.
The house was great for a large group. We had about 19 people and 1 dog. The only complaint from the group was that it would have been nice to have 1 more bathroom. With that many people 3 bathrooms can fill up fast. The yard was fully fenced and worked great for the dog. If you have a large trailer parking could be a little tricky. The house was clean and well maintained.
If the place is cleaned well, it would be an ideal fit for a family gathering.
We had a total of 20 people including small preschoolers. Plently of room and more beds than needed. The key was not under the mat. I called the number listed for help at check in time of 3:00. I never heard back. Fortunately there was a basement window that was open an after 45 minutes of waiting for a call, I went in through the window.
The Barb-Q grill is dated. The tank felt empty and we filled the tank with propane and it still did not work. (probably a regulator)
Overall a great place in a very good location that is quiet.
We are sorry that there appears to have been some confusion with check-in; the lockbox code to access the key and all other entry information are included in an email sent out one week prior to the beginning of each reservation. Thanks!
This house was perfect for our families! It had lots of space, beautiful views, and a great location.
The house was ample and met our needs. We would stay here again.
