The house was just right for what we needed.

Very open space. Was able to work remotely, enjoy the sounds of nature, access several near by hiking trails, and Mt. bike. Close by to several restaurants. Had a midnight bear visit that we easily shewed away from the safety of the window. One of our dogs didn't mind the spiral staircase while the other was terrified. Overall we had a peaceful time.

Quiet and comfortable. Would definitely book again.

Such a great place to stay especially if you’re looking to ski! The house was a short drive to the mountain and all the restaurants and bars. The kitchen was perfect to make our own meals at home. There are no blinds on the windows so when it gets dark it can get a little scary, but other than that we loved everything!

The condo was warm and cozy. Just a short drive to Killington Mountain. Lots of comfortable beds. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would book again.

My only complaint was the silverware and cookware. Other than that we had a great stay.

Had a really good time at Bob's Bungalow. It's near Killington and we found a nearby dog sitter on to drop our dog during the day while we skied. The kids loved having their own space in the basement. It's 4 instead of 5 because the kitchen ware was more than well used and could use freshening. Most of the pots and pans were burnt; knives were so dull they wouldn't cut; couldn't find a cookie sheet. We arrived at night and during the middle of a winter storm; while we are well accustomed to winter driving and have AWD, someone coming from warmer climates should be aware of the mountainous and relatively remote location. The driveway was plowed the following morning. Wifi signal was great. All in all, a fun stay and we would stay there again.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, Nicole. We are pleased that you enjoyed this cozy cottage and all it has to offer, and we appreciate you letting us know how we can improve. We will inquire with the homeowner about updating the cookware and utensils. Please note that as indicated in the listing description, 4WD/traction may be required in winter. We hope you’ll return to enjoy another fun stay!

We had a family wedding in Pittsfield and this was the perfect location to have a private home rather than a hotel stay. Beds were all comfortable; the place was very clean; WiFi and TV were great; bathroom was basic but well equipped; kitchen was bare bones but all we needed for a two night stay. I am a cook so I’d have had to bring a bunch of cooking supplies had we stayed any longer. Also, a bear did bang on the door very loudly at 4:00AM and destroyed the trash from previous guests outside, and I had to bang on pans at the window for him to very slowly leave, so the second night we hardly slept - that guy wanted to get in! But it was exciting at least! All in all, it was a great place & we would stay again as we have lots of family events nearby.

Beautiful house and very clean

Loved the quiet location up a long (and well-maintained dirt road. Great for walking and nice peaceful spot to do some work. Hosts were very responsive when I reached out during the stay. Thumbs up.
One note that the spiral staircase was fun and quirky but could be difficult for someone not steady on their feet.

This was a nice stay. Very cozy, with multiple thermostats/heaters and a wood burning stove - perfect for after a day on the slopes. Many comfortable beds. We loved that it was dog friendly.

Do be aware that the driveway is down a small incline and it gets snowy in Vermont. Make sure you’ve got your chains for backing out (or gun it up the slope, which is what we did!).

This is our third year in a row staying at Bobby's for our annual ski trip to Killington. The house is very cozy, kept in good condition and minutes away from the Killington access road. We highly recommend this home for vacation!

Nice and quiet location, with tranquil and peaceful sleeping loft. Accommodating hosts. Has everything you need for a week in the mountains!
Michael C. Dec 2018
The house was really nice, well kept, plenty of space for 4 of us. Could have fit 2-3 more people. Also 10-15 mins away from the mountain and all the restaurants/bars. Great location, and would stay again

The wood stove keeps the place nice and warm and cozy the only drawback is there is no washer and dryer

We had a fantastic minimoon at bob’s bungalow! We were able to bring our dog with us (who loved going up and down the spiral staircase)! The wood burning stove was so nice and warmed the whole place up, and there was plenty of wood ready to go. Although we visited during a weird time (not really fall anymore, but not quite winter yet), we had a really nice time, and would absolutely stay here again.

The location privisey was my main objective and I found it here

Nice cozy 3 level small home about 3 -4 miles from Killington mountain road.

Clean, comfortable, private & quiet country setting with nice deck, 3 person/chair outdoor table & gas grill.

Only 1 bathroom (main level), Fyi - spiral staircase so be careful with small children and/or elderly.

Be 5 stars with a flat screen tv in the upstairs bedroom/loft area.

Would stay there again if in Killington

Hope this review helps out.

This places was cute for just us two and our pup. It had a lofted full bed upstairs and about 6 twin bunk beds downstairs. It was just the right size for 2. The kitchen was ready for use and we took advantage of that. The tv is set up with limited channels so we ended up buying some dvds from Rutland. It is a secluded little home with a beautiful view from the porch and really any window you look out of. Thank you for a great stay.
