* close to West End
* easy access to highway and downtown Portland
* clean!
* small bathroom (it does have a heater!)
* limited utensils for cooking (spatulas and cooking spoons are gigantic!)
* figuring out how to use stove and oven was a bit tricky

Overall a great space, especially if you don’t plan to cook much. Must be able to climb two steep flights of stairs, carrying your bags with you as there’s no elevator. Views of Casco Bay are great once you reach the top.

The place was all that we were hoping for and more. Everything was in working order, very clean throughout, spacious rooms, decent views with lots of windows, nice shower, and a comfortable bed.
Only a few minor drawbacks that we encountered:
1) There was almost no space to store your stuff away or hang up clothes. There were two huge closets in the Master Bedroom that appeared half empty, but signs on the door tells guests to stay out of them. If the owner could merge his stuff into one side of those closets then it would leave the other half free for guests.
2) Apartment was freezing when we arrived and the heat took hours to warm the place up. Once the heat was on there was no problem and the place even got hot.
3) The neighborhood is extremely residential with any kind of commercial business (food, coffee, convenience store, etc.) several blocks away.
4) The place had a "newly renovated" feel which was nice, but was therefore missing some of the regular stuff that clutters up the kitchen drawers and cabinets over time that the guests can then use when they stay. They had all of the essentials though and we got by fine.

We found this apartment to be very clean and free of clutter which was nice. The view overlooking the bay was enjoyable especially given the fall colors and the short walk down to the park was a great addition. The neighborhood was very nice and we felt safe walking around the area.
The biggest negative was there was absolutely no place for a visitor to put their clothes and things. There was a tiny hanging space in the second bedroom but really not helpful. There were no drawers to put things away and we found ourselves having to dig through suitcases the whole time we stayed. There are two large closets in the main bedroom but they were posted to stay out and were for owners things.
In addition, the initial steps upstairs are quite steep and short in tread making them difficult to navigate with luggage.
Manager response:
Thank you for choosing us for your vacation, Kay! We appreciate your feedback as a means to enhance our future guest experience, and have forwarded your review to our local property caretaker to review. We look forward to having the opportunity to host you in the future for another relaxing getaway!

Enjoyed our stay in this condo in a lovely location. Views were beautiful, it was walking distance to every where we wanted to go, and it was very quiet.
Plenty of room for four adults. It was nice having some separation between the bedrooms.
Will definitely return here in the future.

This home was conveniently located and very clean. Note: there is no usable closet in the master bedroom (closed for owners) and the shower/ is very high (stepping inside).

Beautiful and clean, well maintained and nice location. Nice deck to enjoy! Parking can be inconvenient and stressful not being familiar with all parking restrictions. Also lots of stairs in the event this may be an issue.

Spotlessly clean, kitchen was moderately well equipped but you are never going to get everything you need in a vacation rental.

As the apartment is up two flights of stairs it can be a bit of a workout carrying heavy bags, but it is worth the effort due to the incredible view of the bay and islands visible from the multitude of windows on the 3rd floor. I loved waking up to the scene each morning. Bed was comfortable and huge TV was great. Shower was refreshing. Location was great as it was a five minute walk to a park with a pedestrian path and bike trail where you could walk the mile and a half into town.

Difficult to find anything to criticize...

New and clean. View of water. Close to park. Close by little market, bakeries, coffee, restaurants.

stayed at this place for few days with my boyfriend. It’s very bright, clean and has nice open space. The apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen has a lot of utensils and big island. The windows around the apartment bring a lot of natural light in the main area and we loved we were able to see the ocean! There is no private parking but we found parking in front of the house very easily. We definitely recommend this place!

The location and newness is this place is great but there are some key things that would make it so much better.
1. We stayed here for 6 days and they didn’t provide enough staples for our stay. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels and 1 dishwasher pod. Odd. We ended up having to stock up the supplies, which I hope future guests enjoy.
2. The entire closet of the master bedroom was full of the “owners stuff”. Leaving half of our party with one tiny hallway closet. Not acceptable.
3. Their is no central air, which is fine, but either install ceiling fans or provide portable fans for guests to use for air circulation.
4. Please provide basic cleaning supplies so that guests can do basic cleaning while they are there. There was only a half bottle of multi-purpose cleaner for us to use.
5. The fridge leaks...constantly. We had to keep mopping up the water with our towels and then had to wash the towels to reuse for the leaking fridge each day. Please fix the fridge.
6. The washing machine doesn’t work properly. The spin cycle leaves things sopping wet. We had to run things through 2-3 cycles before they were ready for the dryer.
7. Consider adding a table. Any table. There was no coffee table. No dining table. No patio furniture of any kind on the back patio. Bummer.

Overall, a bit of a disappointment.

The light during the day is gorgeous, with views out to the Eastern Promenade. The apartment is clean & well stocked. It’s a little slick & chilly in decor for me — no conversation group & no dining table, just a sofa —but we got used to it & made it cozier. Vacasa was easy to work with when we had problems figuring out the heat. We’d stay there again, though summer would be more cheerful.

This property is beautiful!!! We so enjoyed the view and our walks around the neighborhood. We visited after a pretty big storm hit and the staff were so easy to communicate with. The property manager stayed in close communication and offered us support in many ways. We would definitely recommend this place to others.
