Dog-friendly cabin w/ view of Pikes Peak, detached garage - walk to downtown

Looking for a dog-friendly cabin with a view of America's mountain? You found it! This little treasure has a full view of Pikes Peak right off the deck and from any area of the yard. You can even see the mountains from inside the cabin through the large picture windows.

This adorable cabin is nestled in the trees on top of a hill in the center of Woodland Park, so it's within walking distance to all the downtown activities. But the quiet, dead-end street has little traffic, so you feel tucked away when you're on the deck with your morning coffee.

The location is perfect for walking to all the downtown activities like the City Park, the farmer's market, nightly wine tastings, art galleries, restaurants, breweries, and more. Woodland Park is centrally located in the Pikes Peak area so you are within minutes to all the major attractions.

This cabin is pure Colorado inside and out, approximately 720 square feet with two bedrooms and one bathroom. Feel free to unpack and make it your home during your stay. In addition, there are two twin size mattresses that can be used for additional sleeping space. Enjoy the convenience of a detached garage, which includes a half bathroom and a private washer/dryer available for guest use.

The cabin has a full kitchen. It's stocked with all the essentials you need to prepare meals at the cabin. The kitchen is open to the dining area and living room, making it easy to converse with family and friends throughout the cabin. You may want to extend your cooking experience out onto the deck where you will find a propane barbeque grill and deck furniture. What a great way to enjoy good food and family in the outdoors, with an incredible view of Pikes Peak.

The living room area has two love seats for plenty of seating around an authentic red rock fireplace. Enjoy this space with the family watching movies, playing games and making new memories during your Colorado vacation.

The Little Doe Cabin is a perfect place to base your Woodland Park adventures. What the cabin lacks in square footage, it makes up for in charm and comfort. We had 4 people in the cabin comfortably and had everything we needed for a delightful stay. And the view of Pikes Peak out of the cabin windows and from the deck is just the icing on the cake; not to mention seeing deer grazing out the front windows almost every morning. It was much quieter than I imagine many places would be as well, as it is at the end of a dead end street. We worked from the cabin for most of our stay and the internet was plenty fast and reliable. We also cooked most meals and found the kitchen well-stocked! They've thought of everything, even supplying plenty of clothes hangers and charging options for phone and accessories built into the lamps in the main bedroom.

When not working, we thoroughly enjoyed all that the surrounding area had to offer, including the many wonderful ATV trails in the North Divide and Rainbow Falls areas. Plenty to see and do; many delightful restaurants and cafes; then relax in the comfort of this quaint cabin to make for a wonderful Woodland Park vacay.

The place is old and quaint but has nice decor. The bedrooms are small but workable. The view out the south window is great. Our stay was short but we plan to revisit in the future for a longer stay. The TV remote was very grimy and needed to be cleaned, FYI to mgmt. Was impressed with how Vacasa handled the whole rental procedure.
Manager response:
Hello Mark, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We strive for a standard of excellence in ensuring the home is clean and accommodating for our guests. If there are any concerns or areas in need of additional attention, we hope to be notified so we can make sure any issues are addressed. We look forward to hosting you for a great stay in the future.

The view was epic and the cabin is cozy but super comfortable. The management team was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this location for a mountain retreat.

I loved the location and view from this cabin and it was very clean. The only thing I would change is the comfort of the bed - maybe a mattress topper would be perfect. I would rent it again for sure.

Perfect mediation/reading gettaway for me and my doggo.

This was a great location with great views of mountains all around.

Cute cabin. Overall nice for a quick two night stay. Things to note: no hot water in the shower, parking was a bit confusing with the property being built nextdoor (we didn't want to block their driveway), without ac temperature control was difficult at night (probably not an issue in the winter), eventhough it's on a dead end street noise from traffic and dogs will keep you up at night.
Manager response:
Hi Toni, thank you for your feedback. We apologize if you did not have hot water in the shower. We wish that you would have let us know so we could fix it during your visit. Our guest service agents are available 24 hours a day and if any issues such as this arise we encourage guests to let us know so that we can assist. We have let local staff know of your feedback as well. We hope to host you again in the future!

While not luxurious digs (and not expected for the value price!), this cute little cabin is cozy and includes everything you need for a trip to Woodland Park. We especially enjoyed seeing a mama doe with TWIN fawns wander through the yard one morning during our stay!

This place was nice and well equipped. The check in was easy. I recommend if your needing a place to crash while your enjoying all the fun stuff to do in the area.

Great little place to get away and WHAT A VIEW!!!! Absolutely loved the quiet, views and being able to walk around the neighborhood after a home cooked meal.

The cabin was cozy and the view of Pikes Peak was wonderful. There's nothing like drinking your morning coffee on a deck looking out at the mountain peaks

Loved the fireplace!

The view.

We had a great time at the cabin over the New Year's holiday. Had snow and deer visitors. We loved the fireplace and the kitchen had what we needed. The shower was small as described but workable for the price. The bed was not very comfortable, probably our only real complaint about the place. Overall we had an excellent stay, great location close to town but didn't feel packed in a neighborhood either.

We loved the coziness, the view and the generally warm, homey feeling of the cabin. It was well equipped with cooking equipment, towels, and bedding.

There was pet hair all over the cabin, including the pillows the floors the sheets and the sofa covers. My baby and I couldn’t enjoy the stay because we had really bad allergy from that. I had to purchase Clorox to clean the bathroom myself, even after the cleaning lady lady came back to change the sheets and clean the bathroom using only comet powder, which it’s not the same as using Clorox to kill the bacteria . The view was very nice, the size of the cabin was good for 2 adults and 3 small kids. The bed was really really uncomfortable BE AWARE OF THE BED AND NOT THE BEARS
Manager response:
We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay, Sofia. This is an older cabin, so there is some discoloration in the bathroom despite everything being cleaned and sanitized. Bleach is ill-advised in this location due to the home's well. This unit is pet friendly, and we always do our best to remove any pet hair or dander, but it impossible to get it all. We advise our guests with pet allergies to allow us to assist them in locating a pet-free home for their rental needs. Thank you!

This is a nice cozy cabin with a good view of Pikes Peak through the trees. You get an unobstructed view by walking a short way outside the cabin.

The cabin was cozy. The views from inside & outside the cabin are breathtaking. The furniture needs updated and the shower is extremely small. Location was great!

Enjoyed my stay. Last house on dead end road, so it was Quiet. Good view of pikes peak. Beds kinda hard though.
Donna P. Mar 2019
Property was clean and had everything we needed. We arrived in the middle of a blizzard so we spent a lot of time enjoying the fireplace.
Rebecca M. Mar 2019
This cabin had everything we wanted for our stay, and is in a great location. Far enough from any city life but close enough to get there with a quick and easy drive. The deer came right up to the windows and the view is beautiful. The beds are not very soft, they are pretty firm but comfortable. The pillows are very soft and all & all we sleep really well and were comfortable. They have a few movies, puzzles and games. We enjoyed playing checkers and put together a puzzle in the evenings. We are very happy with our stay here and would recommend it for a couple or family. We are a family of 4 :)

My husband and I chose this cabin because of the gigantic fireplace and the wonderful view. The kitchen is very cute too. The shower is small and my husband is a tall man, so he banged his elbows a few times.

We saw deer so many times outside and enjoyed watching the crows/small birds. Whoever built the cabin did it in a way to maximize the view, yet maintain privacy for the cabin dwellers and neighbors. The heater worked wonderfully, which was important since I live in a much warmer climate.

We will book again in future.

We had an absolutely wonderful romantic time and would definitely recommend the cabin to our friends. And its likely we will be making regular visits to that area again.
