We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and are talking of doing it again next year. The cabin was clean and beautiful. The only issue I saw was the amount of dead flies in the upstairs bedrooms by the doors. But otherwise it was lovely

The house could be lovely but is in need of a deep clean, landscaping, updating inside, and some kitchen items. We were very excited for this house because the pictures looked great. Unfortunately the house was very dirty. There was a dead bat on the floor and mouse droppings in many places. We were notified the day before we arrived we would not have the hot tub. When we did arrive the A/C did not work. Luckily they did get someone out quickly to fix it. The best thing was our view of fireworks. More trees need taken down or trimmed to make the view better though. I would love to give this house a better review, but it there is just too much that disappointed us.

Right when you walk in this magnificent home it feels like you landed on a perfect vacation. Although there was not sufficient snow for good skiing (what we came for) we had plenty of fun playing games, making snacks, and watching movies all with the backdrop of the river.

Great configuration of bedrooms, huge deck with lake view and comfy furniture plus a big kitchen, great room and dining table make this great for 6-10 people. Watch beautiful sunsets from the deck and watch the boats go by below. While not at the lakefront, this house is conveniently located to Wisp and McHenry Plaza. Great state parks are also close by. This house is well appointed with everything you need. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes. Good wifi and plenty of TVs to keep everyone entertained.

Amazing view of lake for 4th of July fireworks and in general worked for what we needed for 11 people. We knew lake and other amenities would require short drive, based on property description.
The house could use better lighting, especially in kitchen area. Agree with prior reviews on dirty floors and the external doors were hard to open/close properly.
Glass shower door broke on day 1 of our stay (maintenance said it was due to off tracks) leaving us without a master bath. Still waiting to see how the repair costs shake out.
