The views from both porches were incredible. We had 4 adults and a 1 year old - a great time was had by all! I'm a cook, so I was impressed by the well stocked the kitchen. There's a Keurig type coffee maker and a 5 cup drip coffee maker. Plenty of pots, bowls and utensils for cooking; only thing missing was a mixer. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were clean. I don't think it sleeps 6 now. There's a new sofa chaise, so one person could sleep there, but not 2. Staff was very responsive to calls and very professional and cordial. We would definitely go back!

The park were this house is located has great amenities like a pool, tennis courts and more. Location is great not to far from Key West and close to Bahia state park. We also rented a boat for a day at one of the local boat rentals which was a great experience

Loved this place!!

The house was wonderful. It was clean and had everything we needed. I was disappointed with the dishes. The plates, cups, and coffee mugs were all plastic. The plates had knife scratches in them where they had been used to cut food. They didn’t look very clean. I did go out and buy a set of dishes to use and some coffee mugs. The community Venture Out was Great. The people were nice. We played bingo every Sunday Night, they had Pancake breakfast on Saturday morning. The pool was large and water was warm. I would go stay at this place again.
We appreciate you staying with us, Cheri, and are pleased to read you would consider returning. The plastic dinnerware will be replaced. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We hope to host you again!

The view from this house is great, but the carpet in the house is very old with lots of dirty stains. Suggest to change carpet!

Beautiful and clean. Great view of the water. Only downfall was the small and uncomfortable bed.

Was true to pics. Easy to get to key west, jet skiing and staff was helpful. Just to let others know it's a twin bed and a trundle bed.

This was my first time visiting the Florida Keys and I absolutely loved staying on Cudjoe key. Only a half hour away from Key West! This home was clean and suited our needs for our stay. Would definitely return!

The house was very nice. All amenities were provided. The only thing we didn't like was that there is only a full size bed in the bedroom. Should be at least a queen size. Enjoyed our stay😀😀
Hi, Patricia. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and the amenities provided. We have checked with our property manager and confirm the bed size is in fact a queen bed. We look forward to hosting you again!

I’ll start with the positive - the home is adequately furnished, clean, and the area was quiet. Beyond that, the advertisement is very misleading. First of all, I believe it is a stretch to say this property is part of a resort. As a 30-year resident of Florida, I’ve stayed in several resorts in the Keys. Venture Out Is more like a mobile home park/camp ground with most “residences” being exactly that. The entire property is either paved or gravel (yards) and the swimming area is small and does not include a beach. Checking in to pay the “resort fee” of $100+ was a hassle as I had to wait outside of the guard shack on boiling blacktop while the security staff dealt with a customer that was having some sort of problem. When I finally was able to pay the registration fee, I was told I’d have to return the following day to get my multiple day entry pass because the gate only has single day passes.
The photos on the Vacasa app are not representative of the actual views you’ll experience from the property. The one with the view of the water (taken from the front balcony) could only have been taken when an adjacent RV lot was vacant- that wasn’t the case during our stay. The the rear balcony overlooks a motor home offering a nice view of a mildewed roof and some rather tacky yard ornaments that includes no less than 5 closely spaced umbrellas (a poor attempt to construct a covered patio?). Finally, there are a number of stains on the carpet that appear to be from pet urine. I reported those via email at checkin and never received a response/acknowledgement.
There was very little hand soap in either bathroom and the WiFi password we were provided was incorrect. Despite sending 5 emails concerning the Wi-Fi to Vacasa, I never received a single response so we used our cell phones as hotspots- not the best solution since I had work to do during our stay.
As advertised, the property is pet friendly, but upon arrival the gate staff provides you with several pages of rules which includes a restriction that prohibits you from taking your pet off the individual lot you rent. In fact the rules specifically state that if you go on another property, the sheriffs department can and will likely be called. Keep in mind the lots are postage stamp size and the part of the lot that isn’t concrete is gravel. Our dog was trained to do her business in the grass so walking the dog was challenging.
My advice: find someplace else to stay. You’ll likely save money and have a much more pleasant stay in the Keys.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We attempt to be as transparent with our listings as possible and provide accurate and current photos, amenities lists, and descriptions so guests can make an informed choice about what they are paying for and make the right decision for their needs. We will be sure to follow-up with the appropriate local team members to address those other concerns as well. We appreciate you sharing your feedback.
