The location was perfect - easy walk to Main Street, as well as the HEB. Place was small but cute.
The experience was subpar though. The code for the keypad did not work, and it took over 10 minutes on hold for us to get a hold of someone. They did not resolve the keypad issue but instead gave us the code to the lockbox where the backup physical keys were kept. The WiFi network listed in our check-in email did not exist. There was a handwritten WiFi network and password inside the room, but the password did not work. I sent a message alerting them of this and never received a response. The shower had a serious drainage issue. Water got about halfway up my feet during my shower.
I expect a lot better at this price point. Was disappointed.
Manager response:
Michelle, we are pleased that you enjoyed the location but we're sorry if we fell short of the 5-star experience we pride ourselves on. We appreciate you notifying our management of your concerns, and we're happy to report that our check-in processes have improved, the WiFi information has been updated, and the shower drain has been unclogged. We value your feedback as a means to improve, and we hope you'll return to give us the opportunity to exceed your expectations!

My husband and I loved staying here with our two dogs! The location is so convenient - literally one block from Main Street. The building itself is very cute and it has everything you need to relax after visiting wineries.

But not a great place to stay in an ice storm. It would have been good if not for the bad weather. Location very good It was just not for us.

Beautiful and quaint tiny home and one block from Main Street. Walking distance to great events. Mercedez from Vasca Fredericksburg was a great person to assist us in our stay.

Cute cottage close to everything downtown! We walked to several restaurants nearby.

Location, location, location. Super close to everything, but just far enough off Main to be pretty quiet and peaceful. The space is very small, but fine for a couple just needed a clean place to sleep and shower. The late check in and early check out aren’t ideal. Very nice stay.

Cute but small studio. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Location is ideal near Main St..

The "Hutte" is tiny but comfortable. Walk to everything in downtown F'burg. Everything was spotless and as promised. Comfortable adjustable bed. Private off-street parking was important as F'burg gets crowded. Met the owner....So sweet!. We'll definitely stay here many more times as we come to F'burg twice a year.

Suggestions: Owner should place a squeegee in the shower to safe the doors from developing spots. Also a small area rug in the bath would be nice. Owner provided a white noise machine, which is nice when the Lincoln Street club across the street gets hopping. I couldn't get it work, but we had our own, so no big deal. The music across the street was actually very good. No complaints at all.

August E 1/2 block away serves great food on the higher end of $$$ for Fredericksburg. Vintners' Hideaway around the corner represents some of the finest wine in the hill country. Try them!

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Fredericksburg! The Kleine Hutte met all of my needs and exceeded my expectations. It's charming, comfortable and very clean. It's truly walking distance to everything. We enjoyed relaxing in the yard and listening to the live music nearby so much, that we ordered chinese food and ate it at the bistro table outside one night! The fact that the home is dog friendly huge perk too! The host of this home clearly put lots of time and attention into every tiny detail. We will be back!
