Beautiful home! Loved the golf course view!

Gone Coastal was a very warm and inviting home. Located on cul-d-sack made it even more secluded and private. Sitting on the screened in porch facing the golf course was so comfortable with a cool breeze. We had a wonderful time in this house.

There were 8 of us that stayed in the house and it was a good size for that many people. Having three beds in the downstairs bedroom was crowded, but the three teenage girls managed.

The house was pretty clean, but there were only 2 trash bags for the kitchen trash for the week. It wasn’t helped by the prior tenants next door overfilling our outside trash can before they left (we saw them sneaking over). We didn’t want to do that to the new tenants next door. I finally was able to reach someone via text about getting some trash bags and trash bags were promised. Even after going back and forth for two days, we never got any. We took the outside trash to the curb and the management called to say they sent someone to check on that, but still no trash bags. It was a minor inconvenience, but still inconvenient. I finally gave up asking for trash bags and we worked around it.

The day before we left we came home to find two bags on the front porch containing towels, sheets, and toilet paper. That was just confusing (and still didn’t see any trash bags), so we left that alone.

The email and text instructions we received before arriving versus the instructions we received when we arrived at the house did not match. As an example, the key cards were supposed to be in the box at the pickup location, but there were no key cards. There was one on the counter when we got in the house. We requested a second key (with 2 families and 8 people), but never received the promised key either.

There seemed to be confusion at the front gate as well. For the first few days, we were able to come and go without checking in at the front gate except with our parking pass when requested. In the middle of the week, they closed the front gate and wanted a key card to get in the gate, of which we only had one and two cars. Using our parking pass resulted in being griped at by the keeper of the gate.

The ocean clubhouse signs said “no outside food or drink” but then was only open Thursday through Sunday. Be prepared that some days of the week you will want and need to take a small cooler with you to the beach so you can stay hydrated and fed.

We had a great time on our vacation and didn’t let these inconveniences get in the way of that. It could have gone smoother with better communication from the property management and operators.
Manager response:
Hi Lori. It is a pleasure to learn you had a great time on your vacation! However, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the trash bags and key cards. It is never our intention for our guests to encounter such issues and are grateful for your patience during that time. Please know our local team is aware of your experience and is working diligently to ensure these issues do not reoccur. Thank you so much for staying with us and sharing your experience. We hope to see you again!

This home was perfect for our family of 5 (all 3 children now adults). 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, can’t beat that. The inside is wonderful. We cooked our own meals most the time and used the grill. The pond out back is full of little fish and we loved feeding them. The neighborhood is quiet. The beach is a mile hike but they do have a bus to transit there. We didn’t use it because you can’t take a cooler. We got up early (8am) and drove the short drive to the beach and got a parking spot. There is very little parking so make sure you leave early if you want to drive. This was a last minute decision and it couldn’t have gone better. Wonderful home!

This house was beautiful and in a perfect location. My husband loved being able to not only play the golf course but to wake up in the morning and sit on the balcony and watch the other players. The house isn’t a far walk from both of the pools and the beach. 10/10 would recommend to everyone and most definitely will plan to go back💙

This house is at the end of the culdesac and on Hole #5. Very quiet! The shuttle picked us up and took us to the Beach Club so no need to find parking close to the beach.
