This fantastic two-bedroom, 2 bath duplex home (sleeps 6) is located on The Strand of Oceanside just steps from the beach, Oceanside Pier, and a short walk to highway 101 and nightlife. Walk out the door and take a stroll down the Strand or jump on a beach cruiser. This is a perfect location for a summer get-away. Easy parking in the 2-car garage, and a comfortable side patio is great for BBQ and relaxing too.

This home will comfortably sleep 6. The ocean-view master bedroom is upstairs, and downstairs are the kitchen and living area, and additional bedroom. Downstairs parking garage for 2 cars, and ocean-view outdoor patio area for BBQ. The living room has a hide-a-bed sleeper sofa just in case you have an additional guest. The beach and surf are just a few steps from the front door, and it is a short walk to dining and highway 101. The clean bright kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment necessary to prepare a wonderful meal or take a short stroll to the pier and dine there. You can even walk to the harbor will bring you even more options for dining. The home has a 2-car garage, outdoor patio, BBQ, and outdoor seating, washer/dryer, iron + board, cable TV, WI-FI, and much, more.

There’s nothing like waking up to the surf and sand each morning. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay at this cute beach house.

The location and the layout of the unit is great. Enough amenities to make the stay pleasant.
However, this unit needs a thorough cleaning especially, baseboards, floors were they meet the baseboards, windows, screens. (You can hardly see out of some of the windows.) Dust in bed frames and chairs, etc.

The unit was fantastic, clean and in the perfect location. Traffic on the strand at night can be a bit noisy, but that’s the strand.

We love the location to the beach, but however this unit is not worth the nightly fee. It is only able to sleep four not six. The sleeper sofa is not fit for people to sleep on. We had to go buy pillows for the other two guests with us. We were lead to believe this unit would sleep six people but the sofa is well past it's life and should be replaced. The house is also missing a few things in the kitchen. Microwaveable bowls.

Could not have asked for a better location! Vacationing on the beach with our 3 kids was a dream as this place pretty much opened onto the sand. Forgot something or want some lunch while playing in the sand? Walk back across the one way street and grab it. No hefting huge loads of sand toys, boogie boards and chairs long distances!
I will say that this place is a bit of a hodgepodge with its furnishings and is quite plain and unadorned. However, it was spacious, clean and functional and had everything a family needed to stay the week. Definitely worth the trade off for being so close to the water and being easy to stay in. It’s also close to food and grocery stores for those things you need to make and enjoy a nice family meal around the big table. We grabbed laundry soap at the close by Walmart Neighborhood Market to do multiple loads in the perfectly working appliances. So nice to have the ability to wash beach towels etc!
The view of the water and the Oceanside pier were amazing and it was a real treat to wake up and watch the surfers (and even dolphins) from the master bedroom balcony or the large ground floor porch. Walking 100 yards onto the sand to watch the sun set each night was also wonderful.
All in all, this rental was exactly what our family needed to stay comfortably for a week. Will be returning in the future!
