Easily walk to shops and restaurants. Close to grocery store as well. Great little place with everything you need. Would stay there again.

Just being there. We lived at the Driftwood for a couple years. Say 45 years ago and that is what we were excited for. To see it one more time
The home has several problems; slats on entry door was messy looking and broke; the television was not user friendly what so ever. We had to leave to purchase more batteries, which did help; heaters in every room had black residue and dust on them; bedroom heater would not shut off for at least 20 minutes; bathroom rug was dirt and we have to put a towel down to step on; HAD TO PURCHASE OUR OWN TOILET PAPER as we were left with less than a quarter of a roll; the outside light at the top of the stairs was broken and hanging, only came on when we were directly below the sensor (a law suit waiting to happen), would have been nice to have some Kleenex, a small box would have been sufficient. We paid alot of money for the unit, which was okay but we expected more as far as maintenance and cleanliness. If i was to rate on the maintenance, I would give a D-. We would like to be compensated for the discomforts we went through. Thanks you

Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Gail, we hope you were able to enjoy your stay. Thank you for sharing your feedback and bringing some items to our attention that may need some TLC. We have forwarded your feedback to the local staff so they can work to improve the house for future guests. Please know that our guest services team is available 24 hours a day to assist should any concerns arise during your visit. To clarify, we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. Pantry items like oils and spices are not usually stored in the home for sanitary purposes. We encourage our guests to bring any food-related items they may need during their visit. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us. We hope you choose to stay with us again.

Pros: Lots of pots, pans, glasses and silverware. Toaster, crockpot, as well as salt, pepper, olive oil and some other herbs and spices. Plenty of pillows and throws for the couch. CLEAN. Nice view of a narrow inlet out the front windows.

Cons: Living room tv has no remote and so the volume and channels can’t be controlled. Roku remote has no volume control except on the back of the tv which is impossible to see. TV in bedroom has better Roku remote that will control the volume.
The biggest con is the noise in the bedroom. There is some kind of utility hallway that runs next to this unit and in a closet behind the bedroom wall is something making a loud mechanical humming noise which never stops. Not too good for a restful night’s sleep.
If you have small children or are older or less mobile, there is a steep flight of ski stairs, metal and wood, that must be negotiated to access this unit making carrying luggage up and down difficult.
Manager response:
Laura, thank you for the review of your stay. We are glad the kitchen is stocked well for your guests' enjoyment! We are very sorry you weren't able to use the TV. It is always our goal for our guests to be able to use everything the home has to offer. Although we have no control over the utility machinery we do understand the frustration of not being able to get a good night's sleep. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can host you again!

Quiet, peaceful, and right on the water with dock for swimming, kayaking and paddle board. Really fun to kayak to the bay. Unit is small, but modern and beautiful! On the ground level with lovely lawn to play yard games in! Best place in town to stay!
