The cabin is quaint and thoughtfully equipped. Great location w beautiful access to the river. The loft is ideal for kids—lots of toys and surprises.
Not great for bleisure—unless you are either only one outside or inside or ok working from a bed. But perfect for a getaway.

This house was beautiful, in a very quiet location. River in the back yard, hot tub was a nice touch. Perfect for our family of 6. Little hideouts in the loft were a cute touch, glad they had pool towels since I forgot ours. Stove and oven were amazing as well, for me to cook on.

The house was easy to find and clean upon arrival. We had problems getting into the house. The door lock didn’t work throughout our stay. The hot tub was our selling point. The living room could be bigger and a larger television would be great. All and all - all was well. I would rent again.
Manager response:
Derrick, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the hot tub and the cleanliness met your expectations. We apologize for any trouble with the door lock, and we're happy to report that the access code has been updated. We will pass your comments regarding a larger TV to the homeowner for consideration. We look forward to welcoming you back during your next stay in the area!

Overal a nice cabin.kitchen is better equipped tan most. Nice porches however the back porch, while not terrible, needs to be cleaned of mildew. TV channels are limited. Internet is below average which is a bigger issue because there is almost no cell signal. Worst of all the road is a lengthy gravel rough dusty access. I won’t rent again because of access. We stayed for a week at this house and it was wonderful! It was very clean and it was nice to know all of the specifics of how the house was cleaned between guests. The location is great--we have two young children and they loved splashing in the brook at the back of the property. The gated community has a lake and small beach, nature walk, and swimming hole. The lake beach was great for the kids when we couldn`t go to Lake Lure. Overall this was a great place for families and I would highly recommend it. This is the absolute perfect place to stay for a family vacation in Lake Lure! Actually bigger in person than it looks in photos - we had 4 adults and 2 kids. The kids loved the upstairs loft, which had so many great touches for kids. Small community beach was great, and the home is so close to all town activities, yet also so private. We look forward to our next vacation! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We rented this home for a week and had a good experience. The house is very close to the the local town, lake, hiking spots, and all activities available on Lake Lure. The home itself is located under a lot of trees (lots of shade) by a big running creek/river that we were able to take a little swim in, though it wasn’t easily accessible- and don’t forget your water shoes! Inside the home was very clean and we were able to enjoy the fire pit as well as the hot tub. We ran into a couple of difficulties during our stay, but the property management was more than helpful and accommodating, always keeping in active communication with us.

First, this cabin is remote. We have a 4 wheel drive, so reaching the cabin up and down the steep gravel road was not a problem. However, for someone who drive a sports car, this gravel road might be an issue as it is steep and rocky. Also, you are responsible for depositing your garbage at the gatehouse. This requires hauling the garbage in your vehicle. This could be an issue for some people as bags of garbage could be messy. That said, the house was very clean and the French Broad river was enjoyable. The kitchen was also well stocked with everything that was needed. We spent most of our time hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the proximity from the house is not too far. We also enjoyed visiting Sliding Rock. The washer was broken upon arrival, but Turnkey washed our laundry for us and refunded a portion of the rental fee. The vacation, overall, was enjoyable for our family. This review is for the house itself, and not the area of Lake Lure (which is also lovely) We recently spent 5 nights in this cabin with our two young children (2.5 years and 9 months).

The location is beautiful - there is a nice yard, lots of trees, and beautiful water views in the back.

The cabin was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make all of our meals at home!

The loft area is super cute and even had a few toys (every parent knows the best toys are someone else`s because they`re `new` to your kids!) My son loved playing with the semi-truck. There are adorable little cubby spaces outfitted into the eaves of the roof. Unfortunately, my toddler is afraid of everything and didn`t want to go into them, but I thought they were so cute!

Pros:
*Location - in nature, but also close to things to do and a grocery store (and a Starbucks!)
*Cleanliness - I was really impressed
*Kitchen - Had everything you could need for cooking for a family
*The front porch! Just lovely. Huge. We drank our coffee out there while the kids played.

Cons:
*I really want to be pleasantly surprised by the quality of beds and linens in a rental, just once. Sadly, this was one of the worst. The bed in the main bedroom has two pretty clear indentations on either side of the mattress, and it was hard for me to get comfortable. There are affordable `bed in a box` mattresses that you can even get on Amazon that would remediate this. Spring for a new mattress, please!!! The sheets are also pretty bad, and the towels are too. Again, all of these things could be fixed with a trip to Costco. This was the biggest negative from our experience there.

*The shower heads - poor quality and way too high up. Maybe the owners are 6`5`, I don`t know, but the shower head is mounted so far up that by the time the water got down to me, there was really hardly any water pressure. I ended up just holding the head and wa This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Love the house and how it was away from everyone... but the housekeeper needs to clean a little better.. I hope the owners look into how someone is cleaning there house. But other then that I love yalls house and the land... I had bought a mop to clean the floor bc it was not that clean when I got there. The stove was nasty and dishes had food on them... the couches had tears in them.. a few of the bar stools have bolts out.. tv cable did not want to stay on WiFi did not work.... by no mean am I putting this place down just Hope owners will get this and fix what’s wrong and hate to see them pay someone to clean when they don’t do there job.. We were very happy to be on a long vacation to Lake Lure. We have been there many times and this trip was more to see of we wanted to move to Lake Lure. Anyhow, I did like the property but there were a few issues. First of all, either the owners or the person that rented before us have a black haired dog. The hair was everywhere, especially in the bathroom tub (probably gave the dog a bath there). I personally love dogs but I dont want to stay in a bunch of hair (it was even in the bowls in the kitchen). We also found flea`s in the tub and bathroom. Considering the COVID issues we expected more cleanliness.

Overall the cabin is beautiful and being on the Broad river was very cool.
The cabin has alot of really cool personal touches and I would recommend staying there as long as its clean.

We spent 6 nights at this wonderful cabin to unwind after a particularly stressful quarter of grad school. It could not have been a better place to relax, the hot tub the fire pit and the beautiful view of the creek were great. I personally spent most of my time in the outrageously well outfitted kitchen. LOVED this place and can’t wait to come back! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

An excellent location, nice, well stocked property, very clean, comfortable. The drawback: the refrigerator did not work properly and internet is slow and was down the last day of our stay. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. We arrived late but had no problem getting through the front gate and into the home. The home was very clean upon arrival. It`s decorated very nicely with a comfy/cozy feel.
Our boys loved the loft. There was lots of room to sleep and play, the toys and books kept them busy. They also enjoyed exploring around the property and up and down the dirt road. We saw a few deer which was fun! We enjoyed the hot tub as well.

We visited Chimney Rock State Park, Justus Orchard and wandered up and down Chimney Rock Village. Be sure to visit Carolina Moon Coffee--great coffee, baked goods and quiche!

The fireplace remote was nowhere to be found which was a bummer that we couldn`t have a fire during our stay. Also, the quality of the towels and washcloths was poor. Although washed, a few of the washcloths were stained, so definitely bring your own if you can.

A few friends and I traveled up to Lake Lure for my birthday weekend. It was one of the greatest weekends we`ve had! The cabin was better than we expected and was the perfect size. It was very clean and comfortable. It has a big porch with a hanging bench swing that we played corn-hole on and it has a beautiful backyard that includes a fire pit, fire wood and a hot tub! The cabin also had bikes and a badminton/volleyball net that we really enjoyed! It was the perfect cabin in the woods, I would absolutely recommend staying here! We did have some trouble finding the dumptsers but once I reached out to TurnKey Vacation Rentals they were prompt and accurate in their response! (The dumpsters are on the other side of the road past the gate, right before the entrance to the other gated community). Overall, it was a wonderfully, spooky weekend! :) This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Overall great location. 15 to main beach, adventure sports rentals 10 minutes, dining and gas station 15-30 minutes. Biggest downfall was wifi. After returning from all day outside there was no way to stream anything on the tv’s because internet was so bad. Bring plenty of dvd’s. Also, power went out on the last day which made it very difficult to check out and pack in the dark. Not the owners fault just a part of our experience. Lake Lure is a great location and we loved that this house was located on the river in the Riverbend community. We brought tubes, put in behind the house, and floated a couple hours down to the campgrounds, where we`d parked a car for $5. Peaceful and fun float, but it relies on the dam being open. We tried to fish but there were no fish in this part of the river. The other side of the neighborhood has a swimming hole and a little lake that you have access to.

We rented a pontoon boat with Lake Lure Adventure Co. because they let us bring our dog — great way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend.

The house itself is nice. The kitchen is well stocked and outfitted with a professional range so we had lots of fun cooking with that. We had stinky water from the hot water heater and the hot tub had an electrical issue, but both were fixed promptly by TurnKey.

Lots of things in the loft for little kids to enjoy, but weirdly the house had no games so we had to buy some at the Ingles, which, by the way, is close and has pretty much anything you might need, including water toys and games. Nice log cabin. Some wear issues but overall nice home. Too bad they choose not to address the well problem - the sulfur permeates the entire house to the extent of not wanting to turn on the water- At all. Could not recommend.
