Recent Asheville vacation rental reviews

This home was a good fit for our needs. There were 4 of us. Two elderly moms and a couple. The house was spacious. Spotless. Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfortable but very low. A little hard for the moms. Also the bedroom loft is spacious but better for kids or smaller people. This would be great for a family. The yard needed tending. Locations seem a bit off mileage wise from the description. But we thought this was fine for our needs.

Unit 310 Review PRO’s - Location is very convenient to everything downtown - Responsiveness of Vacasa staff during problems with check-in was very good. - Beds are very comfortable. - Walking trail behind the unit is wonderful. - The black-out shades in the bedrooms are a very nice amenity. - The furnishing in the unit is nice. - Convenience of the closeness to Harris Teeter, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods is great. CON’s - Lock was broken on the front door. We were able to come up with a workaround with the help of housekeeping. - Ants found in the living room on 3 separate days. - Lots of scuff marks on walls. Unit needs to be painted. - Door to the 2nd bedroom will not close due to a big crack in the wall above the door as if the wall has settled. - Popping and snapping sounds in the elevator every time you go up and down in it. - No lights on the rooftop level. It appears light bulbs are burned out. We had to use our phones to be able to see. - Rooftop furniture needs to be repaired/replaced. Sat on one of the 3-seat pieces of furniture and the back was broken so badly almost fell out the back. No paint on this furniture. Outside of fire pit could use a paint job, but it functioned fine. - There is some noise from a construction project across the street. Depends on what they are doing that day. It ends at 6:00 PM in the evening. - Getting hot water out of facets takes a long time, but once it’s hot there seems to be plenty. - One-ply toilet paper at $200/ night, seriously? - No kleenex in the unit. - Showerhead in the bathroom with the tub is much lower than the stand-alone shower. My husband is 6 feet tall and the bathtub shower was not viable for him. - Closet in the 2nd bedroom is mostly taken up with vacuum and cleaning items.

Downtown, breweries and Biltmore are all within 15 minutes, which was perfect. The house was very clean and spacious.
