We booked this place for our family vacay last summer. Our time there was relaxing, peaceful and restorative. Everything from the horses/cows at the farm before you turn in to the serene view of the lake and surrounding trees is the epitome of a mountain getaway! As soon as you walk in the cabin you see the view of the lake through the large sliding glass doors and windows. Light radiates into the space. Just stepping over the threshold I felt like I was letting out a long awaited breath! I could instantly feel my body relax. And I cannot say enough about how cozy and beautiful the cabin is, inside and out! The owner's really give a lot of attention to the details and make it such a welcoming space. Our kids were able to run around outside and just BE KIDS! It was a magical vacation and forever memories were made there as a family. Because we had such a restorative time there over the summer, my husband and I booked it again for a weekend get away for the two of us. Life is hard and it's easy to get lost in all the schedules and to-dos. My soul needed a respite and I found myself daydreaming about this place quite often. To say it has become my "happy place" is an understatement. My husband and I were able to connect and our souls were rejuvenated by being immersed in a setting full of nature and a cabin where the owners have literally thought of everything you could want and need! If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! We've already booked our summer family vacation to go back again and I can't wait!

We rented this cabin for a ladies' leadership team retreat. It was a great choice on a beautiful little lake. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and watching the wildlife on the lake. Kitchen was pretty well stocked and beds were comfortable. We would choose this place again.
