Beautiful views, great location, great amenities for the kids. Maintenance of amenities could have been better. Hot tub was a bit slimy.

My family and I had a wonderful time. We spent time together playing games and enjoying the scenery. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We plan on coming again.

My family really enjoyed the cabin. Traveling with four children during Spring break can be difficult but the kids were very entertained with all the games downstairs. I even joined in the fun with pool, pinball and some 80’s arcade favorites. The location was perfect and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place for families. We would definitely stay here again.

Ok, where to start? I love the cabin, location, views,, and amenities. However, I booked this cabin for the games on the bottom floor and two of them were not working at all. Huge dissappoinment when you have several cabins to choose from and you pick the one with the most fun games and two don't work. I contacted Vacasa via email upon arrival and called. No on answered after a 30min hold and no one answered the email. I had sent an email asking about the games not working and the hot tub which seemed to be running on and off during our stay. Overall, the cabin was clean. I did find some hair on the heart tub, but for all I know it could have been from the staff that cleans. Also, that tub needs a good cleaning with the jets running. A lot of black gunk came out of there.
I had taken my own clorox wipes and wiped stuff down, so no biggie. Still, you want to keep those jets cleaned for the next guest. The sofa on the main floor needs fixing for sure. It could also get a good cleaning! One side is okay while on the other you sink down into it. The kitchen was equiped with everything we needed. The bathrooms were clean and had towels, however when we arrived I did not see the bath towels under the sink and we went out and bought towels at Walmart.
The downstairs was great-minus the arcade and pinball not working. My kids were able to play with the golf game, air hockey, and billiards. The checkers and chess games are missing pieces.
Hot tub outside-it does have a funky smell. My kids and I still got in twice. I think the filters need a good cleaning. Water did look a little murky. Wonder if it gets cleaned between stays or just stays like that. When we arrived the jets were on and came on every so often on their own.
Beds-My kids enjoyed the bunk bed. Beds were comfortable and clean. Just not sure if blankets on top get washed. If you sleep downstairs you can hear all of the footsteps on the main floor including the toilet flushing in the middle of the night. It's pretty loud downstairs. No big deal. It's a cabin. Overall, we enjoyed the space and it was big enough for our family of 4.
Location-close to gas station, stores, and all attractions. We had a bear come up by our cabin on our third day. It was hungry and looking for food. He ended up on another porch pulling the trash down and eating out of it.
Something helpfull-have a book with instructions on fireplace, games, and such. At least some instructions on that hot tub outside. Would I stay again? Yes. I would just expect everything to be in working condition specially when you look forward to spending time with your kids.
Manager response:
Hello Jessica, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are so sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the power on the area where the games were connected which has been addressed by a vendor, the games were reprogrammed and are now working. It seems that the hot tub was set very low at 82 degrees during your stay. We have set it to 102 degrees and checked that it's working properly. Our housekeeping staff will address the cleanliness concerns mentioned. We are sorry to hear you found the couch uncomfortable. The couch is a sleeper sofa and that is why it sits funny. Our team checked that is not broken and it is operable. We would love to have another chance to host you for a much more enjoyable stay!

We loved the size of the cabin! The beds were comfortable. We really weren't in the cabin much since we were out exploring. The cabin was a quick drive to a grocery store, restaurants, skiing and ice skating, and downtown Gatlinburg. It wasn't a bad drive to Pigeon Forge either. The pool table was used daily, so was the pinball machines. Loved that there were random games there too (exploding cat was fun!). The only complaint we have is the smell of the hot tub. We used it 2 nights, so it was awesome, but our swim wear still smells of that funky musty old smell. Also, the upstairs bathtub was a little dirty (don't know about the heartbeat shaped tub since it wasn't used) But other than those two things, we would definitely stay again and will be back soon !!
Manager response:
Thank you for choosing us for your getaway, Ashley! While we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay, we do sincerely apologize for the cleanliness concerns you encountered during your stay with us. We are disappointed to see that this concern was not reported to us during your stay as we would have been happy to assist. We have passed your feedback along to our housekeeping staff so they are aware of your concerns. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!

To start out…I’d like to say our trip went down hill quickly! This house SAVED US! We arrived in Gatlinburg on 1/6 to find out our first rental was OUT of POWER! We were fours hours from check-in and 3hours from home. This trip was for my husband’s birthday so I was determined to make it amazing! Called around found another place turns out it’s on a 60 degree hill and was nearly impossible to overcome, did I mention it was snowing and calling for another snow storm!😩
So my search began again…now it was 3pm. Feeling overwhelmed, I found this beauty!! $200 more but worth every penny! This house from the outside is a true hidden gem! When you pull up it doesn’t seem very private but it was everything we were looking for! Super clean, all the appliances was a little small but it was only two of us. We will definitely bring our kids back! Thank you so much for this gorgeous property! We will definitely be back. The only suggestion I would have is we had the thermostat set at 67 upstairs and it was perfect. Now downstairs made it a bit cold. Having one of those small heaters may help downstairs. But then again if you have kiddos they wouldn’t know the difference! Thanks again, y’all made my husband’s Birthday incredible!

The view from the back porch is awesome. We were disappointed that the tv downstairs in the game room doesn’t pick up any channels. When you review the pics, you assume the tv works. We wanted to watch some football downstairs but was not able to.
Manager response:
Hi, Robert! We're sorry you were disappointed in the downstairs TV. It is available for viewing DVDs. Thank you!

Love the location but the cabin was smaller than I apsected.

The view was wonderful and cabin very cozy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The views were beautiful and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. Location is ideal and very close to local attractions-just a few minutes into Gatlinburg and around 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The hot tub cover needs to be replaced/didn’t have a tight seal and the water level of the got pretty low overnight each night. Vacasa was great and sent maintenance out within an hour after I called to bring a hose for us to be able to fill it up on our own though. The downstairs game room was missing some pieces to be able to fully use all the games (no chalk for pool sticks, no darts, missing checkers/chess pieces). My only other suggestions for the homeowners would be to add some outdoor furniture-there are only the two rocking chairs upstairs and no seating on the lower deck so not lots of seating options to be able to sit on the decks to enjoy the views. Overall really nice though and great customer service from Vacasa:)

The view, beautiful cabin

Almost everything about this cabin was amazing. The one major negative was the wifi - there was wifi but it only periodically worked. You would connect right to the network, but then there would be no Internet. I don't know if it's a thing with too many connections, or that the signal didn't go to some parts of the cabin. But it was unusable, and as the saying goes, bad wifi is better than no wifi. To Vacasa's credit, they were responsive in trying to fix it. They had someone come out (twice) and reset the router (which was locked in a room we couldn't get to), but that didn't do anything. I still gave the review 5/5 stars because they did refund about 10% of my overall price. Other than the wifi, the cabin was amazing. We booked it mostly for the views of the mountains and it did not disappoint. You know how sometimes the pictures look great but then you show up and the view is totally different? Not the case here. The views were outstanding from both of the decks. The hot tub was great. The location was on the north edge of Gatlinburg, which was super convenient to Gatlinburg itself, Pigeon Forge and the parks. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the water pressure in the showers was great. The basement arcades, pool table and air hockey were a big hit with my kids. A few minor nits * The kitchen was not stocked at all. I was expecting things like salt / pepper or ice trays. There were sufficient utensils. * Although it sleeps 10, the dining room table only seats 6. Not a huge problem but something to be aware of * The cabin sleeps 10, but 2 of those are on a pullout couch in the basement. But the couch is too close to the pool table so you can't open it (and the pool table is too heavy to move out of the way)
