Luxurious Super-Private Cabin with Game Room, Hot Tub, & Fireplace

Get as cozy as a cub when you stay at Mama Bear Creek Bridge cabin. Featuring a hot tub, a grill, a fireplace, and a game room, this cozy cabin may only house six, but it packs a punch!

Secluded in the heart of Wears Valley, this 1,725 square-foot lodge is accessible via a private road through an iron gate, over a charming wooden bridge spanning a babbling brook. Sound like paradise to you? Meanwhile, you're still minutes away from Smoky Mountain attractions like the national park, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, and Cades Cove.

Enjoy the woods hugging the cabin by rocking in one of the chairs on the decks or soaking in the hot tub. Fix dinner with the help of the charcoal grill or simply catch some alone time with the sound of the creek.

Inside is a modern yet cozy space with Australian cypress wood floors throughout. The living room is centered around a stone hearth gas fireplace, and you can watch the big game on the TV.

Save money on dining out and make a fabulous meal in the well-stocked kitchen. Don't miss a moment of what's going on in the living room with this open space.

Challenge your pals to shoot some pool in the game room, where you don't even have to run upstairs for a drink thanks to the wet bar.

You'll sleep well in one of the two bedrooms. Enjoy a king-size bed or a queen bed - either way, you'll have a spacious spot to sleep in. Both of the bathrooms have a Jacuzzi tub if you want a bubbly soak in private. There is also sofa sleeper downstairs.

Additionally, central heat and air, plus WiFi, will make you feel right at home and then some.

From the slopes in Gatlinburg to the NASCAR Speedway, there's a huge variety of activities for everyone. Lace up your hiking boots for a day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or Cades Cove. Enjoy live music and Southern charm at Dollywood.

We stayed 4 days in this beautiful cabin. It was very homey and comfortable. Our only complaint was lack of cleaning. Our white socks were black on the bottom after playing pool downstairs the very first night. We found a goldfish on the sink from previous visitors. Upstairs shower would drain VERY slowly. There was standing water while showering. And all outdoor porch areas were mossy and slick. I could see this being a hazard for young children. These really aren’t “complaints”, just small inconveniences. Other than that, I would recommend this cabin to someone and would definitely stay again!
Manager response:
Maddie, thank you for sharing your experience with us, we are glad you enjoyed our lovely home. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused by the cleaning issue, sink concern, shower issue, and outdoor porch as we strive to provide every one of our guests with a comfortable experience. Please know that we have relayed your concerns to our local home manager to address. We look forward to another opportunity to better impress you in the future.

Pretty location, quiet, all the amenities you’d need.
ROSE H. Oct 2022
The cabin was clean and comfortable. A little out of date but still very nice.
Lynn C. Sep 2022
Good location.
Chris S. Sep 2022
Very clean and quiet. Loved the privacy but close enough to all the attractions. Best of both worlds.
Shekeva A. Aug 2022
If you're looking for a secluded romantic experience this cabin is great for that.
Brent T. Jul 2022
We loved the setting, being nestled in the woods. Saw a bear twice at the cabin.
Had issues with housekeeping and some of the amenities that should be in a furnished cabin to stop us from having to go buy it.
Manager response:
Hi Brent. Thank you for leaving this review for us. We're delighted to hear how much you loved this amazing location. We apologize for any cleanliness issues you encountered. We wish you had reported them upon discovery, as we would have been happy to address them for you. Please know we stock only a starter supply of items, these are not meant to be an unlimited supply, but rather enough to get folks through their arrival days so they can take inventory and purchase whatever they will need. We appreciate your feedback and hope that you'll give us another chance to host you in the future.
Tiffany R. Jul 2022
The upstairs both tub hot and cold water knobs were stripped so you couldn’t take a bath in there, the down stairs bath was full of mildew. There was cobwebs everywhere including the main shower. The house really needs a deep cleaning. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.
Manager response:
Tiffany, thank you for sharing your feedback and bringing some items to our attention that may need some improvement. We have forwarded your feedback to the local staff so they can work to address these for future guests. Please know that our guest services team is available 24 hours a day to assist should any concerns arise during your visit. We hope you choose to stay with us again!
Ronald W. Jun 2022
Location and privacy was great! Layout of cabin is beautiful just some minor things need attention.
I was a little disappointed in a few things, downstairs tub would not fill up due to bad drain in tub, and upstairs bathroom water wouldn’t shut off, all the fixtures are loose and need attention. Pool table is not level and could not play on it. I give 3 stars
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Ronald, we're glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for sharing your feedback and bringing some items to our attention that may need some TLC. We have forwarded your feedback to the local staff so they can work to improve the house for future guests. Please know that our guest services team is available 24 hours a day to assist should any concerns arise during your visit. We hope you choose to stay with us again.

The view was incredible. We were lucky we brought extra supplies (kitchen waste bags) as there was not a waste basket in the kitchen. We were not able to work the dishwasher, no biggie, we used paper products once we realized this. The temp in the hot tub never got above 76 degrees - a bit chilly.
Manager response:
Hi, Leona! Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us. Maintenance is checking the dishwasher so we can get it up and running again. We appreciate your patience.
Laura A. Jan 2022
I love the cabin everything about it made it so cozy. My favorite part was the privacy we had outside and that master bathroom! It was a nice romantic getaway for my husband and I.
Ed C. Jan 2022
The cabin is nice. About 15 minutes or so from either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge - away from all the busy-ness of those areas. It's in a fairly secluded area. From the cabin, you can only see woods - which we really enjoyed. The creek outside is great - makes it sound like it's raining all the time, which we liked. (Great for sleeping!) The arcade machine was a lot of fun. We were hoping to see some wildlife and did see some deer in the area. A couple of coyotes wanted to sleep on the lower deck one night during a storm, but quickly ran off when we turned on the light. Yes - internet *is* painfully slow, but based on the location, that's to be expected. (Play a card/board game or go outside. LOL) Overall, it was a nice place and provided a comfortable stay.

Rated 4 stars for details. Tried reaching out to Vacasa via the "info" email - no response at all. Tried reaching out to the "local team" via their email. No response there either. So I'll just put it all here. *Please note* - none of these things really detracted that much from our stay. It's a nice house that needs just a little attention that would make it an excellent stay.

The parking area and lower stairs could really use some lighting. Being out in the woods like it is, there's no ambient light and it gets really dark! (Bring a telescope!) The welcome email gives you the code for the "lockbox" - it's actually for the keypad on the lower level entry door. When we arrived, the alarm wasn't set and the back door was open. Not unlocked - wide open. Several reviews mention the hot tub. The buttons on the control panel are worn out. The max temperature setting is 104 (like most) - but it does not get that hot. (May be a bad heating element?) The jets will sometimes get stuck in the "on" position. [All that said about the hot tub, I *AM* irritated that there's a $15/day additional charge specifically for it and it doesn't function properly.] Inside, there are a couple broken or missing knobs on the dining table. (Be careful for the broken one.) Trim casing is coming off of the doorway between the upstairs bed and bathroom. A few small places could use some paint touch up. The pool table is fine for kids that want to knock balls around, but it's not level, in a bad spot for being able to shoot all the way around the table, and there is no chalk for the pool sticks. One of the more annoying things was that it seems queen size sheets were put on the king bed upstairs. All mostly little details that would require just a little time and a minimal investment to make it a pretty perfect stay.
Caleb D. Nov 2021
The cabin was very nice and very clean. Wonderful location away from everyone. The only downfall was none of the remotes worked for the TVs. You couldn’t even change the channel in the living room even from the tv. The hot tub never got warm. The wifi was very slow too which is to be expected for vacation wifi. Other than that a lovely stay we had and worth the money
Shelley P. Oct 2021
I really enjoyed the face that it was close to everything but so private.
Jill S. Aug 2021
The pool table and hot tub were definite perks to this cabin. We didn’t love that the main floor was on the second story. Our kids loved the creek.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, Jill. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the location, as well as the pool table and hot tub amenities. We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding this listing. We make every effort to ensure our home is reflected clearly and accurately through our listing information in order for guests to make informed rental decisions. Our photos and virtual tour provide an in-depth look at the home's layout and design. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!

House is nice and perfectly located between Pidgeon Forge and Gatlinburg. However, they didn’t provide enough of the essentials for the length of stay (7 days) and # of people we had in our party (4). Ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and shampoo very early. We cooked and ate regularly at the house and didn’t have sufficient trash space either. Master bedroom door not properly working. Air conditioner would be cold during day and warm during night. Pool table is not level and balls funnel towards one corner. Upstairs balcony has loose railing and is a serious safety hazard.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback! To clarify, we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your time with us.
ALLEN P. Jul 2021
Not a terrible place, location is great if your looking for seclusion, but for the price, I expected better. Upon arrival, the outside is noticeably overgrown and dirty. Needs mowed and weeded, leaves cleaned up, porches swept and mopped. Windows are dirty inside and out and full of cobwebs. There is a Yellowjacket nest in the railroad ties outside the kitchen window. Cobwebs in the house including a huge one in the master shower. Dead and living bugs throughout. No dish detergent. The laundry detergent looked old. The house alarm went off at 4 am for no reason. Multiple light bulbs out. Our teenagers loved the pool table and arcade game. All in all, an ok place, we just feel they need to cater to their guests a bit more. And get a new maintenance and cleaning crew.
Manager response:
Hello Allen,We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness concerns you encountered during your stay with us. Our team of housekeepers takes pride in their cleanliness standards, as it is a top priority service we provide for every guest prior to check-in. We are disappointed to see that this concern was not reported to us during your stay as we would have been happy to assist. We have passed your feedback along to our housekeeping staff so they are aware of your concerns. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!
Brittany C. Jul 2021
Wifi is iffy but the cabin is beautiful inside and out!
Christy P. Jun 2021
We enjoyed staying at Mama Bear. It was very private and secluded. No neighbors and very few passing cars. If you would prefer to hear the birds and wind, this cabin may not be for you as the sound from the creek overtakes much else. But it is relaxing to listen to if that is what you like. There are many stairs to get in; a bit of a drawback after hiking and when leaving and arriving with your baggage. And the place could definitely use a good cleaning as there were cobwebs and dust, and a balloon in the rafters from previous renters. But this did not keep us from enjoying the cabin.
Manager response:
Hello, Christy! We appreciate your feedback and are glad you enjoyed your stay. We apologize if the cleanliness of the home left something to be desired and we have forwarded your review to our housekeeping team to ensure they are paying close attention to detail. We look forward to hosting you again soon!
Kimberly N. Mar 2021
This was our second stay at mama bear creek bridge. The cabin is very well maintained and full of amenities. Both bathrooms have jetted tubs and the master bathroom has a large walk in shower. The beds were comfortable and the outside jacuzzi was a pleasure. I would highly recommend a stay here. It's secluded enough with a flowing creek out front that made sleeping so soothing. So next time you're in town try booking mama bear creek bridge......I promise you'll be satisfied.
Stephanie L S. Feb 2021
Our stay was so awesome! The house was clean, spacious and secluded. There is a bridge with metal gate at the entrance that was gorgeous. The cabin is secluded enough to feel like you are the only ones around but only minutes from food and fun. Literally the only thing I can say not even negative but please get a trash can downstairs in the bar/pool table area, that is the place we spent most of our time at besides the hot tub and there was no where to throw trash away except a little trash can in the bathroom. We will definitely be staying here again, it was great!
Stacy L. Dec 2020
We loved our stay here. Great location, easy to get to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It snowed and we got about 6 inches Christmas Eve. So that was exciting to wake up Christmas morning with so much snow. We would definitely recommend staying here!
coral l. Dec 2020
Nos encantó la cabaña para estar con mis hijos de 10, 11 y 23! Estuvo súper
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again soon.
Sydney L. Dec 2020
We had a great time staying at this cabin. It’s nice being away from other cabins but still being close to pigeon forge was very nice. The pool table was a very nice feature and the bathrooms are amazing! Would definitely stay here again.
leigh s. Nov 2020
First time vacationing in Tennessee. Fell in love with the TN and this cabin. The cabin was very clean. Situated on a beautiful wooded lot with many amenities. Close enough to Pigeon Forge yet far enough away from the busyness.
Angie P. Oct 2020
This rental was very nice and spacious for our family of 5 (three kids ages 8, 9, and 12). It was sparkling clean and included all the necessities. The location was a little remote, but in a quiet residential, safe area and only 15 min to Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend!
Bob W. Aug 2020
Really enjoyed getting away - great home for two couples escaping the Covid. Kitchen could use a few more glasses and coffee cups. Would stay again if we were back in the area. 😀
Vickie C. Aug 2020
We love that it’s away from the hustle bustle, very quiet. Love the sounds of nature and the running creek. The home is very pretty and well kept. The kitchen does not have coffee filters and does not have a large skillet so makes cooking for a family a little slow
Jamie C. Aug 2020
Serene cabin, nicely decorated. Kitchen is fairly well stocked. Extra blankets are available. As with most cabins, I’d suggest arriving during the day in order to have better visibility unlocking doors, carrying in items, etc.
Brianne J E. Jul 2020
The cabin as pretty and secluded. Needs more pots and pans and the arcade game needs turned down.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Brianne. We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement, and we'll pass your suggestions to the owner for consideration. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!
barry h. Jul 2020
Away from everything, but everything was within reach. We will return again for vacation.
Chelsey J. Jul 2020
This cabin was perfect for our girls getaway. Easy to access, clean and well appointed, and just far enough off the beaten path to provide a serene mountain feel. Will definitely rent again.
JANET S. Jul 2020
We loved the location and the privacy.
Anisea B. Jun 2020
This home was very clean. The updated kitchen and large dining table were appreciated. The bathtub in the master was used and delightful especially since we were nervous about using the hot tub on the deck. There is no closure from the woods to stop bears or critters from walking right up to it. Plenty of space for the four of us and the couple that slept downstairs loved the amenities. If you prefer a stiff mattress choose this room as the upstairs masters was very very soft. The property is perfectly secluded and a trickling stream really made it seem like we were more than 40 minutes from town. Overall we’d stay here again.!
Chris W. Jun 2020
Cabin was centrally located in Wears Valley with easy access to Cades Cove, Townsend and Pigeon Forge. Cabin was just as described and pictures are spot on.
Steph S. Mar 2020
The cabin was adorable! Super clean. Comfy beds. Plenty of dishes. Nice fireplace and hot tub. Nice pool table and bonus arcade games. The rippling stream created
a perfect atmosphere for an evening cocktail or a morning coffee. The porch rockers were fantastic. We (family of 4) had plenty of room and the best time!
Katherine P. Nov 2019
The home was very quaint loved the fact it was private. Loved the wrap around front porch. Best place in cabin were the bathrooms they were spacious and water was hot. Beds were extremely comfortable. Close drive to Pigeon Forge. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.
Christy P. Nov 2019
The cabin was clean, spacious and pretty secluded, as well as quiet. We enjoyed the porches and hot tub during rainstorms and the sound of the rushing creek. The walk from the drive is a bit steep and there are stairs to the main floor, just as a warning for those that need to maneuver. And there is a stationary charcoal grill - bring charcoal if you are planning to use. We would definitely stay here again.
Greg D. Oct 2019
Nice cabin
jenni r. Nov 2018
My family and I have been coming to the Gatlinburgh/Pigeon Forge area for 9 years now during Thanksgiving. Wears Valley is a different area than we usual stay in. It is quiet and not crowded.
The biggest issues we had at this cabin were the parking. There is very little room for error on this driveway, it very steep and rutted. Luckily we had 4 wheel drive vehicles. When you arrive the cabin is up on a hil above the driveway, there are a lot steps leading up to it. There is NO lighting and we arrived at 6pm in the winter so it was pitch black. I would not recommend this house for anyone who is elderly or handicap. The next issue was that the fireplace worked for the first hour and then it quit. They came out 2 days later to fix it, but the LP tank was full and no truck would cross the bridge to fill it, so they gave us a $140 credit for the 5 days we stayed. (Not enough to compensate for the fact we would have never stayed in a cabin without a fireplace). Next, we tried for 2 days to get dry towels and the dryer simply would not get hot. They offered to send a repair person on the last day of our stay, but there would be not point in that. They brought us clean towels. Hopefully they will get this addressed, since we had to pack all our dirty clothes home and wash them. Lastly, the kitchen needs some love. Only about 75% of the stuff was clean. We had to wash several things again before we could use them. I will say the cabin we well stocked with Toilet Paper, paper towels, and soap. That was a plus.

Hopefully they will get these things addressed before the next guest, but renter beware before your book.
Manager response:
We appreciate your honest feedback. We apologize that the dryer was not working during your stay. A third party vendor is lined up, and it will be repaired soon. For future guests, we do respond to requests for extra towels. We hope to host you again soon!
Max C. Oct 2018
We loved everything about this place! The layout and location are perfect. It is fully stocked and so clean!. We will definitely be renting this cabin again!!!
Steve C. Oct 2018
The cabin was comfortable and clean. There isn't a view, but the creek provides a calming atmosphere on the porch. We'd definitely stay here again.
Diane A. Aug 2018
Cabin, bathrooms, layout.
Todd K. Jul 2018
The location was fantastic!
Lori M J. Jul 2018
The house was fairly clean. Fully equipped kitchen. It would have been nice to have a disposal though. Had a lot of space inside the cabin. Entrance to the cabin was hard to unload your things and the grill was far away from the kitchen down the steps that had no lights. Cooking on the grill was hard since the light was broken. Outside needs more lights. The driveway is steep and unlevel pavement with no lights it made it very difficult when getting out of your car at night. The outside is small around the cabin. The porch needs cleaned. This house is nice but needs a few things added to the outside of this cabin.
Manager response:
We appreciate this guest taking the time to leave a review with us. Most guests unload through the door on the lower deck as an easier approach. We have scheduled a repair for the outside light so there is a light leading to the grill. We are in the process of cleaning the porches; however, being in the woods it is difficult to keep them clean. Thank you!
Brian C. Jul 2018
Quiet peaceful and secluded
Jonathan M. Jun 2018
One of the best cabins I've stayed in to date. Well worth your time and money.
Natalie P. Jun 2018
The cabin was wonderful. The little town was nice close by. A little bit of a drive into Gatlinburg, but the cabin makes the drive worth it. Looking into staying here next year.

Everything was amazing. Had problems with up stairs blazing hot and downstairs freezing cold.
Roneishia M. Mar 2018
This cabin was beautiful and amazing. I really didn't won't to leave . I feel like I was at home at peace. I love everything inside the cabin. It was just amazing. I thank y'all vacasa for everything.
Stephen M. Mar 2018
Creek beside cabin was great to hear at night. Hot tub wouldn't stay hot enough. Video game way to loud. Kitchen needs liquid measuring cup and cutting board. We had a great time and don't let the little things ruin it, although the hot tub came close.
Manager response:
Our apologies for the hot tub's temperature not being hot enough. This concern has been resolved, along with the measuring cup and cutting board being added in the kitchen. We're troubleshooting the video game to lower the volume. Thank you.
Susan L. Feb 2018
This cabin has the privacy and easy living for a fabulous vacation in the mountains. It has a Master Bath that can compete with the finest hotels in the country. The gourmet kitchen flows so easily with a relaxing living room. Flat screen tv and great hot tub. Don't miss this experience!
Michele P. Dec 2017
We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. The cabin had everything we needed & made for a very relaxing trip. Great location to go to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Kodak & we even went to the Harley Davidson to see "The Shed" in Marysville. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us! The cabin is currently for sale but we are hoping to vacation here again in the future if available.
Travis B. Nov 2017
If you are looking for a quite place to relax and let the craziness of the world go by , stay at mama bear for a week , you will not want to go home , Travis Bourgoyne Baton Rouge La .
Amy W. Oct 2017
Nice cabin. Very close to the dollar store and didn’t take long to get into town. We enjoyed our stay.
Glenda M. Sep 2017
We so enjoyed our stay in this pretty cabin. It had everything we needed to make our stay so enjoyable. Thanks for Shari g the cabin with us!
Ray E. Sep 2017
We enjoyed our trip to Mama Bear cabin. It was in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far away to go see the sights. We really enjoyed the gurgling creek in front of the house. The cabin was clean and inviting with only a few minor cosmetic issues (toilet paper holder, bathroom hooks). Thank you for opening your home up to us. We had a pleasant time.
Joel S. Sep 2017
Great location - easy access to surrounding areas
Janet D. Aug 2017
The knotty pine interior, cathedral ceilings and brick accented baths are beautiful. Add to this the amenities of a great hot tub, a pool table and rocking chairs on both decks. The beds and sofas are very comfortable. The cabin is 12 minutes from pigeon forge and 4 minutes from a dollar general to pick up items if anything is forgotten but the cabin is very secluded. The stream creates a peaceful setting. It is a fabulous cabin and we hope to come back.
Jennifer M. Aug 2017
Smaller and cozy home.
Ronald G. Jul 2017
Enjoyed this Cabin because of its wooded location and privacy yet it's not too far out of the way. We especially enjoyed sitting on the upper deck in the rocking chairs. Great way to start and end the day with trips to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg wedged in between.
Johnny K. Jun 2017
the cabin was very nice the creek running in front of it was really nice would stay there again
Mathew M. Jun 2017
The brooke that runs by this cabin is so charming. You can even hear it at night while you sleep. There are some things I'd update to better accommodate guests expectations but overall a nice place to spend time in the mountains
Brandy C. Jun 2017
We had a great stay at this cabin. It's beautiful and listening to the creek was so relaxing! We enjoyed that this cabin was about 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge but also far enough away to be peaceful.
Renee F. Apr 2017
The cabin was clean and in a good location. The hot tub needs to be replaced, and the pool table needs to be leveled out and needs a new set of balls. Overall, I was pleased with the cabin and the location.
Manager response:
The hot tub is working well; maintenance will inspect the pool table to see what can be done. Thank you!
Cathy D. Mar 2017
Our stay in Tenn. Was nice, we love the sevierville area. Cabin itself needed to be maintained in all areas.
The staff itself with reservations and check in was very heplful.
Charles & Linda G. Mar 2017
Beautiful location however hot tub needs replaced
Tyler B. Mar 2017
We only stayed for a few nights but overall I enjoyed our stay. Wish we would have been able to pull the car into the driveway past the gate
