Where is Brighton Ski Resort?
Located only 30 miles from Salt Lake City, the host of a vibrant festival scene
, Brighton Ski Resort is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, a 15-mile-long watershed canyon. All of the resort's land is part of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Because of the resort's location, it receives plenty of snowfall from winter storms. In fact, the mountain averages 500 inches of snow each winter! Plus, the fluffy, dry snow has been ranked as the second-best snow in North America.
