The heart of Summit County, Copper Mountain is a year-round adventure destination for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts and novices alike. After a breathtaking day skiing the east side of the mountain or a picturesque horseback ride, travelers to Copper Mountain favor ending the day in a vacation rental.
As a Copper Mountain vacation homeowner, you know that renting your home to visitors could generate extra income while you're not there. Working with a Copper Mountain vacation property manager can make renting simple, and help you provide the best accommodations to your guests.
Summit County regulates where short term rentals may operate and stipulates requirements by which all vacation rentals must abide. Zoning is an essential part of Summit County STR regulations, as some areas do not allow vacation rentals. Find out your home's eligibility by comparing your home's zoning with the county Land Use Matrix. If you're allowed to rent, you'll need to apply for a permit ($150) and renew it annually ($75). As a part of the permitting process, all short term rentals must retain a responsible agent who can respond to complaints within one hour. Vacation rental owners are also responsible for remitting Summit County taxes (6.375 percent, taken together).
Copper Mountain vacation rental management is easy when you work with local experts. We're here to make cleaning, booking, and marketing your home seamless with our local teams and dynamic technology. Highly-trained professional housekeepers, operations staff, and maintenance teams collaborate to care for your home and its guests. They're around 24/7, making timely responses to complaints a non-issue. When you've got questions, call your local point of contact for answers: they'll be happy to help you arrange maintenance, solve problems, or let you know how your home is doing.
International marketing gives your home an edge, and we won't nickel-and-dime you for services that help make you successful. Our digital marketing team posts your home's professionally-photographed listing where your guests are looking, like Airbnb, Google, and TripAdvisor. We make it easy to earn more during the peak season by automatically adjusting your home's rates, much like airline tickets before the holidays. During the shoulder, those rates become competitive, filling your calendar and keeping income flowing all year long. Of course, you love to ski and hike Copper Mountain as much as your visitors, so we'll never limit how often you can visit.
