Pros: The cabin has a well screened hot tub with reasonable (not perfect) privacy. Very clean, appointed with the basics, cute woodsy feel. Cons: It's a little dated and the mattress is not in the best shape. We had a great time and will be back.

Deer cabin in South Fork with great location, close to Wolf Creek ski area (20 mins drive) and various hiking trails (in and out of the village). The cabin is spacious with 2 rooms (1 king bed and 2 twin beds), sofa in the lounge, kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, utensils, plates, dishes, fridge. One bathroom with very hot water and many towels and shower gel and shampoo. Internet was good and reliable, which was important as we did work remotely. Direct TV in the master bedroom and in the lounge with many channels. Place was generally clean but it was spot vacuum cleaned, dusty and with all kinds of "debris" under beds and sofa. We had enough bin bags and enough covers, the heating was great. Nice and quiet surrounding, great starry skies, many deer nearby. Communication from Vacasa could be a bit better, didn't receive reply to 2 of my messages but they were not highly important, otherwise I would call. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the hikes and skiing.

Perfect and lovely condo equipped with everything you need. Bedroom and bathrooms spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and we cooked in often. Check in was easy and seamless. Can’t say enough good things. We will be back!

Things to do in South Fork, CO

Explore beautiful South Fork on foot and hit the trails, which offer easy and challenging hikes ranging from one-half to five miles in length. Wind your way through the forest into the wilderness or set out on horseback to take in the stunning mountain scenery.

Launch a raft on the Rio Grande and take a gentle float on the river's headwaters, or seek out a more challenging water adventure and head for the Class II and Class III rapids on the river. Anglers might do some fishing and bring home rainbow trout to cook up for dinner in your rental's kitchen.
