Two bedroom two bathroom, a little noise from 101 and from the heater but not a bother, beautiful view of the sound, within 10min drive of food and groceries (kitchen is well stocked for cooking). Stayed with our pup for two nights and enjoyed nearby Lake Cushman and Hama Hama Oysters. Comfy bed and couch :)

We loved our Hood Canal stay with incredible views (including a spectacular sunrise!) in this wonderful home. All of the amenities were perfect, and the house was spotless, warm (and cozy!), and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We were able to do some basic cooking, which is a plus with little kids; the market is incredibly close, and there's a great coffee shop that's easy to walk to (with enough space on the shoulder to avoid highway traffic). The house itself is well insulated and we didn't hear any of the traffic from the road (although it was also a relatively quiet time of the year, so I can't speak to busier seasons).

This escape was exactly what we needed. The marine fog rolled in daily and blanketed us in mystery. Then we got to see the landscape emerge differently every morning. It was nice to sit by the fireplace, play games at the table, walk the beach, teens could hang by the TV. Even though my 17 year old son said he was bored, he turned around and played games worth his grandparents. I'd love to come back!
