Thanks for the lovely stay, we enjoyed every moment in the home and enjoyed reading about the house, its history, and really enjoyed searching for treasure. -K

Loved it, loved it, loved it! In fact, we had no real desire to explore the area because we enjoyed being in the cottage so much. If you’re looking for a little R&R, this is the place.

This is a lovely cottage with lots of light and a great view over the Penobscot Bay, just south of Rockport Harbor. We loved sitting outside on the deck in the late afternoon, watching the water and spotting turkeys, deer, foxes, and assorted birds.

Land-lovers can set out on the family-friendly Beech Hill Preserve hike through blueberry fields - keep an eye out for the stone house at the top. Take a tour of Aldermere Farm for an introduction to its beloved Belted Galloway cows, nicknamed Oreo Cookie cows for their coloring.
