Salvo is a popular destination for fishermen, surfers, kiteboarders, and windsurfers, as well as visitors who just enjoy relaxing and strolling the quiet, uncrowded beaches. The peaceful village has a few restaurants and shops, and offers visitors a relaxed experience. A grocery store and additional dining and shopping opportunities are 20 miles to the south.
