We really enjoy this home. It’s spacious, very clean, and has everything our group needs. This was our second year staying here, and for the most part, it was another great trip.
However, I do need to mention one ongoing issue. Last year, the Big Buck Hunter arcade game didn’t work, and unfortunately it also wasn’t working again this year. It’s something we specifically look forward to and is one of the main reasons we choose this house over other options in the area, so it was disappointing to run into the same problem two years in a row.
I reached out several times during our stay hoping for an update, but we didn’t receive any follow-up or resolution. I understand things break, but having the same amenity broken two years in a row, and receiving no communication about it, was frustrating.
It honestly pains me to give this house 4 stars because it truly is an amazing property. But the lack of care for something we were really excited about and specifically chose this house for, especially since it is still advertised on the listing, was very upsetting.
We really do love this property and we had hoped to keep coming back, but unfortunately I don’t think we will. At this point, we’ll choose another listing that is closer to our hunting land. Even if it doesn’t have Big Buck Hunter, there isn’t much point when it never works anyway.
