Recent Seneca guest reviews

Awesome time, plenty of room for our party of 12. Kids game tables were in rough shape but usable. Perfect weather for our stay, water was swimable but murky. Kayaking and jumping off 2nd level dock was fun but be mindful of slivers, highly recommend water shoes. Stairs to the beach are not ideal for elderly or very young so plan accordingly. Will definitely rent this location again.

It was amazing! My family loved the house-peaceful, quiet yet still close to many restaurants and grocery stores. We loved the basement-perfect for family game nights.

Can’t say how comfortable this home is for our football family. Oh, the back porch fun we had! Each bedroom is perfect for our families and offers lots of options for kids and adults. Thanks again!!

With 18,500 acres of crystal-clear lake at its doorstep, nine nearby waterfalls, world-class fishing on Lake Hartwell, and the electric energy of nearby Clemson University, Seneca rewards visitors who come looking for authentic South Carolina mountain lake life.

What you'll love about Seneca

Lake Keowee's 300 miles of crystal-clear shoreline is the region's centerpiece  and Seneca's south shore position gives it some of the best access on the lake.

Ram Cat Alley's downtown dining, live music, and Keowee Brewing have made Seneca's small-city energy genuinely appealing on its own terms. Nine waterfalls within easy driving distance, the wild Chattooga River, Lake Jocassee's extraordinary turquoise water, and Clemson University give this corner of South Carolina tremendous depth.

Local tips

Blue Ridge waterfalls, Clemson orange, and Lake Keowee crystal

Seneca sits at the intersection of everything extraordinary in South Carolina's Upstate — Lake Keowee's crystal-clear shoreline, nine waterfalls, SEC football, and Ram Cat Alley's lively downtown dining and live music. The turquoise waters of Lake Jocassee and the wild Chattooga River round out a natural landscape that rivals anything the Carolina mountains have to offer.
