Recent Sterling Sands - Destin guest reviews

We loved the beach access and the view from the 8th floor (top floor). Room was VERY clean and it had a nice kitchen and comfortable living room.

Overall, our stay was great! I was a little hesitant after reading some of the previous reviews, but I was hopeful the feedback had been taken into consideration—and it definitely seems like it was. The condo appeared to have been updated and was very enjoyable. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be to replace the mattresses, as they were not very comfortable. I noticed this had been mentioned in previous reviews as well. The only other issue we had was with the TVs in the bedrooms. They powered on, but we couldn't get the remotes to sync, so we weren't able to use them. It wasn't a major inconvenience since we don't watch much TV on vacation, but it would have been nice to have them working on the rainy days to help keep the kids entertained. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider staying here again

We had a great stay overall. The condo’s ocean view was incredible, and beach access was very convenient. The property felt very safe, and the grounds, pool, and common areas were extremely well maintained. The location is also excellent, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions. Unit 607 does need updates specifically in the bathrooms and bedrooms. But these cosmetic issues were not enough to give a bad review, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well stocked. Again the view, it really is a million dollar view and probably the best one we have ever had and that’s why we will be back!
