What is Tenzen Springs?
Decades in the making, Tenzen is the first of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. Our thoughtfully-minimalistic cabins and pure geothermal spring water soaking tubs pair authentic Japanese bathing with the storied Scandinavian spa culture. Dive into tradition and discover what this ancient practice has to offer the modern wellness journey.
Welcome to Tenzen. The Tenzen Bathing Program is inspired by ancient Japanese and Scandinavian hydrotherapy traditions and is designed to guide the body and mind through a relaxing, introspective experience. Tenzen Springs is intended to share the Japanese Onsen culture with the Pacific Northwest. The traditional, centuries-old soaking practice provides an unparalleled depth of healing for body, mind, and spirit.
Our soaking tubs are continuously replenished with waters straight from the geothermal aquifer beneath your feet. This circular, closed-loop system offers the most natural possible soaking experience. And so, the dream and vision to share this natural wonder was born. They created the name Tenzen by combining the Japanese words Ten and Zen. Ten meaning ‘heaven’ and Zen translates to ‘nature’. "
