A beautiful experience from the moment I booked our reservation. Excellent clear communication and instructions. The cabins are as pictured on site….gorgeous! What you don’t see are all the little touches and thoughtful details to make your stay feel so lavish. My husband and I thought we would do more exploring but were so absolutely taken by this beautiful cabin and experience that was created, we stayed put. Enjoying be present for each other, nature and practicing stillness. We will be back again and again.

TENZEN has a special charm that no other place can offer. With the relaxing tub, nicely layout cabin with rich amenities.. you will be sure to create memories that you will never forget. My husband, being Japanese and loves the hot springs in Japan, would soak in the tub many times during the stay. Winter time maybe cold but durable if it's not freezing cold. I would recommend to check in while it's still light. The roads are pitch dark and hard to find the entrance. Thoughtful amenities will also welcome you : )

What is Tenzen Springs?

Decades in the making, Tenzen is the first of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. Our thoughtfully-minimalistic cabins and pure geothermal spring water soaking tubs pair authentic Japanese bathing with the storied Scandinavian spa culture. Dive into tradition and discover what this ancient practice has to offer the modern wellness journey.

Welcome to Tenzen. The Tenzen Bathing Program is inspired by ancient Japanese and Scandinavian hydrotherapy traditions and is designed to guide the body and mind through a relaxing, introspective experience. Tenzen Springs is intended to share the Japanese Onsen culture with the Pacific Northwest. The traditional, centuries-old soaking practice provides an unparalleled depth of healing for body, mind, and spirit.

Our soaking tubs are continuously replenished with waters straight from the geothermal aquifer beneath your feet. This circular, closed-loop system offers the most natural possible soaking experience. And so, the dream and vision to share this natural wonder was born. They created the name Tenzen by combining the Japanese words Ten and Zen. Ten meaning ‘heaven’ and Zen translates to ‘nature’. "
