Recent Pigeon Forge guest reviews

This house was beautifully situated overlooking a small lake. It was very peaceful and quiet. It was also very spacious. It was easy to find and close to everything in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Wears Valley. I would highly recommend this house to anyone seeking a well-furnished house. If we head this way again, I will definitely book this house. Thank you.

Cabin was clean and well equipped. Came with plenty of bath towels, toilette paper, dish soap, paper towels, laundry soap and travel sized toiletries. Only thing missing was board games which most vacation rentals I have stayed in have included so just know that you should bring your own if you might want them. I greatly appreciated that you were not expected to do much of anything as far as cleaning upon checkout - they only ask that you put dirty bath towels on the bathroom floor and tell you specifically to not even strip the bedding off beds. Basically pick up and go like you do in a hotel. Other places have gotten way out of control with their cleaning expectations on top of high cleaning fees, so this was a welcome relief. Unlike many of the other cabins in Sherwood Forest which had flat parking spaces for two or more vehicles, the space available at this cabin accommodates two vehicles at most, and there is no flat parking space out front of the cabin and the space available only accommodates two vehicles at most. While not a problem for us, the lack of flat parking and the slope you park at could be an issue if you are traveling with someone who uses a wheelchair or other mobility aide. Our only issue was coming home on our second night just after 10 pm and finding ourselves locked out of the community property gate. It had never been closed before. Checked my emails and had not received a specific gate code so I tried my cabin code to open it and it didn’t work. One of the numbers when pressed didn’t make a beeping sound like the others so maybe it was broken? After being locked out for about 10 minutes, luckily a car was leaving the property so the gates opened and we were able to get in. We had friends staying at Sherwood Forrest too and hadn’t been able to get ahold of them when locked out, but we did get a hold of them the next day and just used their gate code from that point on. Make sure you have a gate code and that it works so you don’t find yourself locked out at night!

Cabin was clean. Hot tub was clean. Beds were comfy. WiFi worked well. I liked that it was in the woods but could be back in the Main Street within minutes. Very convenient! Would stay again!
