Recent Pigeon Forge vacation rental reviews

The cabin was clean and neat with a beautiful view. The road is a little scary to say the least. I do not suggest arriving at night the first day.. If your going during the winter I would invest in a brake test for your car. LOTS of stairs inside to climb so make sure you are able to do alot of climbing. Not many grassy areas for the puppy. It was a great place to stay but needs a few updates. No closets? Hooks on the wall for robes etc. Some rocking chairs to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Chairs in the gameroom. Trash cans outside with lids so the wildlife isn't on the porch. Just little updates. I really did enjoy the bedding and would love to know where it was purchased! We were less than 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge. I recommend The Goat House for a great meal at a fair price! The check out to do list was very short which we all loved. Thank you for a wonderful family gathering spot!!!

This cabin has a stunning view and is conveniently located. Our teenagers loved the game room and had plenty of things to keep them entertained, which was wonderful! We didn’t like that the jacuzzi tub was in the upstairs bathroom with the game room & kids beds instead of with the master bedroom downstairs. We expected the nicer tub to be in the master bath so that it could be enjoyed by the adults. The hot tub was nice but located on the upstairs desk outside the game room with no blinds on the windows facing the deck/hot tub. We found that a little unusual. I wish we had known that ahead of time and we might have found a different cabin with a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom in order for mom and dad to have some privacy. A nice addition to the cabin would be blinds on the windows separating the game room from the deck. We chose to give the cabin four stars instead of five because it wasn’t very clean. The sheets and quilt on the king size bed had not been washed from previous guests, the windows were dirty and there were numerous large cobwebs throughout the cabin. For the price of renting, we expected cleanliness, especially the bedding! Overall, a very nice cabin and location but had a strange layout and did not mean our expectations for cleanliness.

Quiet, secluded location. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room for our family of 8. Close to all attractions. Cleaning of outdoor deck areas was non existent. Plenty of debris from trees and dead insects prevented us from using outdoor decks. Some insects made it into the lower level rear bedroom and bathroom. We just didn’t use these rooms. Otherwise, it was enjoyable.

Where are our Pigeon Forge vacation rentals?

Located in eastern Tennessee, this mountain resort city is just three-and-a-half hours from the bustling country music hub of Nashville and two-and-a-half from charming, outdoorsy Chattanooga. Neighboring towns Gatlinburg and Sevierville are full of history and Appalachian charm. And, of course, the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only minutes away from our Pigeon Forge vacation rentals and cabins. With a location like this, our cabin rentals in Pigeon Forge are the perfect addition to a Tennessee road trip or family vacation.

Things to do in Great Smoky Mountains National Park

First and foremost: the outdoors are calling. Abundant rainfall and many different elevation levels make for a fascinating display of flora and fauna in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You’ll have your pick of trails to hike, rivers and lakes to fish, float, or kayak, and roadside overlooks for easy mountain vistas.

From April through November you can drive about an hour from your vacation rental to Clingmans Dome for a unique way to see these breathtaking views. A very steep, spiraled walkway rises from the trees to meet an observation tower for 360-degree panoramas. Or you can drive the 11-mile loop at Cades Cove, passing lush meadows and historic, rustic buildings that are just perfect for photographing.

The trailhead to Laurel Falls is about 20 minutes from our cabins and a popular spot for families to hike. At two-and-a-half miles out and back, it’s not too strenuous and offers beautiful scenery and cascading waterfalls. There are near-endless ways to get outside and explore, so don’t miss out. And if you book a cabin in Pigeon Forge with a hot tub, you can soak your tired legs after an exciting day outside.
