Yes, but please note that tents must be provided by an outside vendor. All tents require a permit in addition to an inspection by the City of Charleston Fire Marshal (to be coordinated through your tent rental company). An event planner must be onsite during the tent installation.
No, we only offer the venue and lounge furniture. We're open to working with any and all vendors in town, as long as they are licensed and insured. We are also always happy to give recommendations!
The rental rates include the rooftop and lower garden patio for five hours of event time, plus six hours of pre-event setup and two hours of post-event breakdown. Extended setup hours are available for an additional charge of $200/hour. Extended event hours are an additional $500/hour, if they fall within the Charleston sound ordinance, which goes into effect daily at 11 p.m.
Yes, but please note that per the local Charleston ordinance, no amplified music is permitted on the rooftop deck or garden patio after 11 p.m. A band is required to bring their own gaffer's tape or carpets to cover loose cords.
If you are hosting fewer than 50 guests, we recommend that you rent one of the onsite apartments to utilize the bathroom(s). Events with more than 50 guests are required to set up portable lavatories in the parking lot for guest use.
The garden patio is on the ground level and no stairs are required for access. However, the rooftop deck is only accessible by stairs. The event space does not have elevators.
