Beautiful, comfortable apartment. It is a short walk from the local retail area and supermarket, and about a 5 minute walk from the beach, so it's really conveniently placed.

The dock was a real unexpected bonus. It extends far out into the bay and was great for just chilling and watching the wildlife. There were always pelicans, ospreys and other birds fishing or catching thermals - we even had dolphins swim right past the dock on one day!

It is fairly close to the bridge, so you can hear the traffic in the distance when you have the windows open, but it wasn't excessive by any means. We could also occasionally hear the upstairs neighbour walking about, but generally it was peaceful and quiet.

The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is there was an ongoing issue with internet access dropping out. Having said that, Vacasa were great trying to get it fixed and the cable company did come out to install a new cable towards the end of our trip, so hopefully that won't be an issue going forward.
