This is our second stay in a row. Everything we expected. There were new mattresses on the beds. A little firm but satisfactory for us. If you love the river as I do, you will be overwhelmed. You’re there 24/7. I spend hours just watching the water. Tuesday thru Sunday lots of rafters and kayaks and don’t let your stay end without taking a kayak or rafting trip. We used MOM and Pops outfitters. Worth $48 for me and my 12 old granddaughter. I own a 16’ Old Town canoe, should have brought it. I mean a great place launch form property. Close to Cherokee and all the sights. Living area is up stairs about 12. Will we come back? Well without a doubt. Places to eat Newfoundland restaurant north end of Cherokee, Huddle House Dillsboro, Haywoods Smokehouse Dillsboro and Waynesville and last but definitely not least Maggie’s Seafood in Waynesville, the best of them all. Great for family of four or just a getaway for a couple who enjoy the river. Enjoy your stay.

We will definitely stay there again. Wonderful quiet place to stay. We loved being on the river. We appreciated the hardwood floors. So fun to watch the paddlers go by and set up shuttles for kayaking.

We loved the location right on the river and all the outdoor seating space.

The location was close to many restaurants, shopping and places to see. Very clean house and we enjoyed the deck every day. A little tricky to get down to the water but you can mange. Overall an great place to get away for a few days and we would definitely go again.

This is the first negative response we have ever had to give, but for the price and fees, this place is very disappointing. The small window AC does not cool the bedrooms, the outside is not keep up so your view of the river is almost completely blocked. Mold and bug made the down stairs deck unusable. The inside is in need of a refresh, wallpaper is coming off the walls, towels are dirty and worn, limited WiFi speed, bathroom is very small and the fixtures are broken, dirty or missing.
The property management company was not responsive to out questions prior to arrival. The very late check in and early check out limit the enjoyment. 4:00 pm check in and 10:00 am check out.
Hi, Michael! Thank you for letting us know about your experience. We have had the air conditioning checked and verified it is keeping the home cool as intended. The deck has been cleaned, and a deep clean has been scheduled for the house. The fixtures have been addressed. We hope to see you again!

Best view was from the parking pad. Grilled steaks on the lower deck and enjoyed morning coffee from the upper. Cabin was fine with plenty of clean towels. Would recommend if you’re not too discerning.

Cozy and extremely clean. Views of river awesome.

The cottage is in a great location, close to all of the small towns around the area. The view from the deck is nice. I do have to say the house was not very clean upon arrival, so cleaning people aren't doing such a great job. It could really use a good cleaning. Be sure to check the sheets upon arrival to make sure they are clean.

Very peaceful location. Very nice over all.

Just right for us! Such peace and quiet! Short drive to all places we wanted to see on this trip.

Location was great and the place was clean. One room had a ceiling fan that was a bit noisy and seemed barely fastened to the ceiling. Generally it was a nice place though.
We appreciate you bringing the ceiling fan to our attention and have tightened it up. We hope to see you again, Daniel!

This is a cozy cabin with a balcony overlooking the river. The first thing you notice is the quiet, nothing but birds and the river. The location is close to the park and activities. The house was clean with everything we needed for our stay. Lots of towels and access to laundry. The road down to the house is gravel not a problem for our truck. The cabin is small inside but has plenty of deck space outside. We brought our dog and he loved sitting on the deck (we used pet gates so he could roam the deck). We will be back again!
