What's nearby:
This home sits on the edge of the golf course in Vanderhorst (behind the second gate), on a quiet, private street. You'll be three-quarters of a mile north of the ocean beach, where you can search for that perfect shell or watch for playful dolphins in the surf. It Was a beautiful home and beautiful place minus all of the love bugs that were flying around

This is our third stay in Kiawah and this house was, hands down, the roomiest, prettiest and most comfortable for our family of 5. We certainly could have added more people to our party and still have been comfy.
The kitchen was well stocked with lots of seating. The natural sky lights made it really bright and inviting.
I especially liked the Home Theater Room; great selection of movies, comfy motion furniture and, best of all, OUTSIDE the living area so there wasn't background TV noise while trying to chat, read, cook, etc..
It was a short bike ride to the beach. This was great for checking out the Turtle Patrols in the morning. However, families may want to check out the areas of the beach with parking if they need to carry beach gear, coolers, etc.
We enjoyed the neighborhood feel of it too. There was lots of walking room to exercise our dog. It is outside the fray, but still really convenient to the main road and lots of activities ( Heron Park and Sanctuary.)
