This spacious home is surrounded by the river and marsh providing a quiet, peaceful ambiance. There is a screen porch in the back with amazing views of both of the river and the marsh. Additionally, you can easily whip up delicious home-cooked meals in the fully stocked kitchen. Guests will have access to the community pool as well as other amenities including the gym facility (for an additional fee). The crabbing dock is a spectacular place to watch beautiful sunsets, Woodstorks flying overhead, fish jumping in Horseshoe Creek, and the occasional dolphin!

What's nearby:
Located in a small gated community just outside of the main gate to Seabrook, you'll be in a nice, peaceful area of South Carolina! The Bohicket Marina is close by and is a great stop for some vacation fun where you can rent a boat or other water-sport gear! Be sure to check out the waterfront dining at the marina - be sure to catch a beautiful sunset here during your stay! You'll be close enough to easily ride your bike to both the Marina and Freshfields.

My husband and I have stayed in this Vacasa listing four separate trips this summer. We were there May 22-29, Jun 27-30, Aug 17-22, & Sept 3-12. We love Seabrook, we especially love Bay Point, and found the condo to be well appointed and comfortable.

I would stay here again....if the appliances worked. I called Vacasa on the second day of my stay to report that the dryer didn’t work. I spoke with Dora who informed me that someone would call me back. No one ever called me back. I was there for 3 more days. Then on day 4 I tried to use the dishwasher but it wouldn’t work either. Also, there were only 2 washcloths that were left for 3 guests. So on top of not having enough washcloths, I didn’t have a way to dry the 2 that I had.

I do not recommend this place for rental until the owner addresses and fixes items in the condo. First off, the code that was given to us for the lockbox was wrong. I spent 30 minutes on hold with Vacasa Trying to get the correct lockbox code. Upon entering the dwelling there was an immediate smell of mildew and animal urine. When I turned the lights on in the dwelling it was apparent that whatever cleaning service was used was a terrible service.

Every door knob, light switch, table, doorway, and door itself was absolutely filthy. I spent the first 45 minutes of my vacation cleaning this condo just so my daughter and I could feel somewhat OK staying there. I am mediately called Vacasa To let them know of the issues and the customer service representative told me that the property manager would be getting back to me the next day. No one ever got back to me.

Not only was the dwelling completely disgusting and filthy, there were stains on the carpet, the washing machine smelled like something was dead in it and it did not work it was totally broken, the dryer was broken, the handle on the shower door was falling off and it appeared as there is somebody try to fix it with hot glue, the curtain rod in the bedroom was put together with duct tape, and the drain in the shower was loose and coming off.

The only reason that we stayed there for the night was because it was late in the evening and we had been traveling all day and I did not want to try to find a hotel at that time of night. Needless to say, we left the very next morning. I tried to reach out to Vacasa, AGAIN, expressing my concerns but once again nobody returned my phone call or email. We ended up spending additional money to stay at a hotel just so we can enjoy our vacation. This place is the absolute worst place I have ever rented and I do not recommend it to anyone.

It is a complete waste of money. I am a single mother and teacher and it takes months for me to be able to save to try to do a quick getaway for myself and my daughter. I feel as though this money was stolen from me and I cannot let that happen to anyone else.

And the fact that I contacted Vacasa multiple times about the issues hoping to get in touch with somebody only not to be responded to is incredibly frustrating and disappointing. This is the worst company to do business with. This dwelling is not suitable for renting unless you don’t mind broken appliances, filthy handles and switches, and the smell of mildew, animal urine, and some thing rotting in the dishwasher.

Never again. Please do not waste your time or your money on this location. The property owner needs to make some serious upgrades to their flooring, their bathroom, and their appliances. Shame on you for renting this location to hard-working individuals who just want a little vacation.

We love Bay Pointe and the crabbing docks and community pool. Walk to Bohicket. It’s lovely. Cute little condo that we would rent again. However, the dishwasher and dryer broken. I called Vacasa and they were very nice and sent someone out but it didn’t get repaired during our stay. 😢 I hated having to hand wash all the dishes especially since we weren’t eating out dew to Covid. Also. There were no extra blankets for the pull out couch bed. We had to give our daughter ours which left us sleeping under a sheet and a beach blanket which we could not dry in dryer. I called Vacasa back to let them know those things still needed fixing. They were to call me back also but haven’t heard back from them. A discount on the property would have been nice but overall it was nice and we aren’t going to let it ruin our getaway!

One bedroom condo is cozy and perfect for a small family or couples getaway. Its nicely decorated with a fully stocked kitchen and convenient washer and dryer for beach laundry. The property management team (Vacasa) communicated via email ahead of my arrival and provided detailed instructions of check in and access to gated Bay Point community. A little confusion about how to obtain Bay Point Community parking passes and amenities included on Seabrook Island. But quickly cleared up by a short visit to Seabrook Island Amenity Center. Access to Seabrook Island is in walking distance from Bay Point but beach access is a 10 min car drive. Condo is close to shopping, restaurants, bike trails and many other forms of entertainment. There's a small outdoor community pool and plenty of space to walk your family pet. Warning, this condo is on the 3rd floor.

Nice birthday weekend with my husband!! Great for couples or Family of 4!.. only issue is TV is Roku..so it kept going out ...and we sports fanatic...we called they came fixed it immediately..overall great weekend.....

This is a sweet little unit. It was plenty of room for my husband, myself and our dog. It was very clean and reasonably equipped with everything we needed. We loved the view from the screened in porch and watching the sunset from the community dock. The local representative of VACASA even called to see if we needed anything! I don't have anything negative to say about this property but would like to note that this is a 3rd floor unit which may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Also the fireplace is decorative just in case you had hopes of a fire ...which I have to admit that I kind of did but only because it was January : ) Would definitely stay again!

Nicely equipped kitchen, comfortable and clean. Great little screened porch area overlooking the salt marsh. the sunsets are beautiful, BBQ grill out near the pool area was nice, fishing dock was also a nice place to sit and watch the sunset over the shrimp boats. What a nice place to stay.

Condo was tidy, not clean! Hair in shower & on headboard! All appliances are stainless Steel & were smeared and nasty! The glass dining table was covered with smudges & fingerprints. The trash can in kitchen had trash & debris under the bag. Bathroom sink didn’t drain.

We enjoyed out stay at this condo. It was clean spacious and with beautiful views of the low country. The piers out into the marsh were fantastic.

Some things renters should be aware of.
- There aren’t any basic kitchen supplies. Salt, pepper, sugar, etc
- No pool/beach towels
- No beach chairs or anything for the beach
- Cable TV is very basic, an antenna would be better. One TV has basic cable, 3 - 4 channels. Both TVs have a Roku, but those aren’t very user friendly and you can’t really watch network TV without signing in.

Again, this is a great location and a nice condo. We’d stay here again, but would come better prepared.

We have been vacationing in Seabrook for six years now. The bay point villas have the best Marsh view. Spent many mornings and evening on the screened porch. convenient drive to the beach. Condo had everything we needed. Great stay.
