The cabin address is not posted anywhere. The neighbors were very nice and helpful telling us where it was. There’s was no place to park a trailer, but the neighbors came to our rescue again letting us park at their house. The cabin is useable and decent but definitely not new and fresh

This place allowed us to have a roof over our heads, but sadly the cleanliness was an issue and the pictures online make it look better than what it is. Spider webs in every room and a ball of hair lying on the bathroom floor when we first walked in so it made us wonder 1) if they dusted swept and mopped and 2) why we payed so much money for them to clean the place if we had to do that ourselves anyways? Its a cheap construction, so, not surprisingly, there was a mouse problem - droppings all over the kitchen - on the floor, in cabinets and drawers. So that left a bad taste in our mouth and needless to say, we kept our shoes on indoors. I called Vacasa and Susan was sweet and apologetic about what we walked into but the only thing she could do was to send the housekeeper out to clean while we were there. It wasn’t worth the hassle in our opinion because that would have been even more of an inconvenience to watch someone clean the place where you are trying to relax. So we declined the offer and she said she would have the manager call and we have yet to hear from him/her. It seems that the money is more important than the quality in this case. We wish we would have stayed somewhere else.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Morgan. We apologize for the issues that occurred during your stay. We appreciate you reaching out to our management team, and we are happy to report that while common within this woodsy area, the mouse problem has been resolved. In addition, we have done follow-up training with our housekeeping team on cleaning and preparing the home for our guests, and we hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

Everything is to be in love with house clean, gorgeous there was no gas for the bbq and the door for the water heater was down not in place but other than that. I am 100 % looking for my next stay there i feel like home. Safe, a beautiful view and really quiet.😍😍😍🥰

We really enjoyed our stay at Our Place. The cabin was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The HVAC system and the kitchen appliances worked well. The cabin had an excellent view. The cabin location was far from any noise or traffic.
There are some things that could be improved. The directions to the cabin were not clear. When we arrived at the address, we found an empty field. After some exploration we discovered that the gravel road that looked like a driveway was actually the access road that led to the cabin far up on the hill.
The code provided to us did not work on the lockbox. When we called Vacasa, the person who answered the phone did not know what was wrong at first. She suggested I look for another lockbox. I checked the door and found a cipher lock. The code seemed to work on the cipher lock, but it was very difficult to operate the door lock.
The gas log fireplace did not work. We called Vacasa to report this. We were told that a maintenance person would be sent out to fix it. No one came to fix it.
The cabin did not have sufficient lighting in the kitchen and den. The light over the kitchen sink did not work. We took a lamp from the master bedroom so we could read and work at the kitchen table.
These were all minor issues. We really enjoyed our stay and would be willing to stay there again. We would recommend to our friends that they use Vacasa when seeking a cabin rental.
Manager response:
Hi, Charles! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and apologize for the inconveniences you encountered. We have double-checked the directions to ensure accuracy in finding the home, we are looking into brighter bulbs, and we are getting the propane filled as soon as possible. We do hope to see you again!

The front porch is the high light. It has plenty of room, rockers, a swing, and a little table, making it the perfect place for your morning coffee. The beds were really comfortable and the home was clean. There was plenty of towels and pillows galore! The sound of the rain on the tin roof was wonderful and very relaxing. We did run into a few problems. Finding it was a little troublesome. You have to drive through someone’s yard, up a two rut gravel road, past a gate, and just when you think you are trespassing and about to get shot, you have arrived. It is all about location though, and this is a great location. Just what I was looking for, far enough away from town to be private, but close enough I didn’t have to drive too far to do stuff. We had trouble opening the front door as the deadbolt did not match up with the striker plate. We could not lock it from the outside at all and locking it from the inside was tricky too. We exited through the side door and kept our fingers crossed we could get it open when came back. Upon walking through we saw several of the closet doors were not on the hinges, so be careful they don’t fall on you. After several attempts to light the fireplace, without success, I called and found out they had not filled up the gas tank. There was also no gas for the grill. During a storm it sounded like the tin was coming off the roof. Shortly after we noticed the roof was leaking. All that being said, I did report it to management and our stay was peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable. I noticed other reviews have said they were not able to reach management. I had no trouble and called them more than once.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. If guests follow the GPS coordinates, they should arrive at the home with no problem. The propane tank has been refilled, and we were unable to find any issues with the door. We hope to see you again!

Our small family loved our time in this cabin. It was very well maintained and perfect for the peace and quiet we needed. It was a little hard to find simply because we arrived at midnight but we very much enjoyed our stay.
