The front porch is the high light. It has plenty of room, rockers, a swing, and a little table, making it the perfect place for your morning coffee. The beds were really comfortable and the home was clean. There was plenty of towels and pillows galore! The sound of the rain on the tin roof was wonderful and very relaxing. We did run into a few problems. Finding it was a little troublesome. You have to drive through someone’s yard, up a two rut gravel road, past a gate, and just when you think you are trespassing and about to get shot, you have arrived. It is all about location though, and this is a great location. Just what I was looking for, far enough away from town to be private, but close enough I didn’t have to drive too far to do stuff. We had trouble opening the front door as the deadbolt did not match up with the striker plate. We could not lock it from the outside at all and locking it from the inside was tricky too. We exited through the side door and kept our fingers crossed we could get it open when came back. Upon walking through we saw several of the closet doors were not on the hinges, so be careful they don’t fall on you. After several attempts to light the fireplace, without success, I called and found out they had not filled up the gas tank. There was also no gas for the grill. During a storm it sounded like the tin was coming off the roof. Shortly after we noticed the roof was leaking. All that being said, I did report it to management and our stay was peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable. I noticed other reviews have said they were not able to reach management. I had no trouble and called them more than once.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. If guests follow the GPS coordinates, they should arrive at the home with no problem. The propane tank has been refilled, and we were unable to find any issues with the door. We hope to see you again!

Our small family loved our time in this cabin. It was very well maintained and perfect for the peace and quiet we needed. It was a little hard to find simply because we arrived at midnight but we very much enjoyed our stay.
