The house has the typical Tahoe rustic cabin style, but the owners have done a nice job with modern, comfortable furnishings that really maximize the 3-story layout of the house. The place was clean, the bed was super comfy with nice, cozy bedding, and we found the kitchen really well-stocked compared to most home rentals. The lower level of the house stays really cool even in hot weather, so we found it the perfect place to watch TV or hang out in the warm evenings. The location in Tahoe Donner is really great, not too far from town but far enough from the busy roads that it feels like the woods, not the suburbs. ~5 min drive from an awesome network of trails for hiking, mountain biking, or horse back riding.

Lovely house, clean and well set up. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was very hot at night in the house.

Our family of four (with 2 teenage sons) just returned from a week-long stay at this perfect summer rental. The multi-levelled "Snow White" tree house (we endearingly called it) was both cozy and entertaining (i.e., lower-level pool table, comfy sofa, and large flat screen TV for binge-watching).
Also, beds were comfy, and house stayed relatively cool due to ceiling fan and enough (screened) open windows. Large kitchen area made meal prep easy, too. Good location near Truckee and outdoor activities (horseback riding, rafting, and kayaking). Really nice family vacation even during this pandemic. (Note: we saw a private hot tub on the property but was not sure if allowed for use.)

It's a great place to stay a couple days. enough space for everyone to have their own space as well as for spending time together. We enjoyed playing pool and sitting outside. Everything was clean and worked well. We would stay here again
