We had a wonderful time in Truckee. The home was clean and had nice fixtures. Having three bathrooms was a plus. Good central location but we were surprised that the house is on a busy road. We could hear road noise on the back patio but didn't notice it from the house. Loading/unloading the car was a little stressful for kids' safety as cars drive rather fast on this road. Our only other disappointment was not being able to use the fire pit in the evenings. The kids missed having smores. We chose this house because the pictures showed a fire pit on the patio but were told (after renting) that the house rules forbid using it. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and there were plenty of bath towels.

We loved this house!! It was really nicely remodeled and decorated, clean, very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils, even food storage containers. This was really important to us as we like to cook at home rather than eat out. Loved how it was easy to organize our ski wear as there were plenty of hooks in the front entrance so they could dry and keep the rest of the house clean and neat. The location was very convenient as well. I can't say enough good things about it. I would definitely book to stay there again.
