Cute cottage in a great location. Lots to do in town and on site. Beautiful setting. Loved kayaking and enjoying nights by the lake.

The views are fantastic, and you're in near-complete privacy.

The amenities were on point and you won’t need to worry much about brining what you need for your own entertainment inside & out In brief those amenities include: cutlery & other kitchen items, smartTV & internet, sheets & blankets, toiletries, cleaning supplies, outdoor chairs, fire pit, outdoor tables, and life jackets + paddles for water craft. The dock does have a lift and there’s a marina within 5 minutes of the home to rent watercraft if that’s your goal. The sunrises were amazing, pier fishing was spot on for small mouth bass, swimming right out the back door, and kayaks ready to go. Pet friendly, the dog I think had as much fun as we did except his version of swimming was chasing ducks.

There is no air conditioning, not even window units; for us this wasn’t an issue as it was between 60-82 degrees for the majority of our stay and the nights were cool; while fans were provided in every room I would suggest bringing 1 or two extras. The seclusion you get comes at a price, and that being a massively large hike up and down several flights of steep staircases. If you have physical mobility handicaps I do not suggest this for a second as getting your own things like groceries, bags, and firewood up and down will be problematic.
Manager response:
Hello Andrew, Thank you for leaving a review. We apologize it is very common in this area not to have air conditioning. We apologize for the inconvenience but we do hope we have the chance to host you again in the future.

Private, great porch, large yard w/ gradual access into lake. Row boat and kayaks available for use to keep everyone entertained! The main entrance is pretty far from the road, be ready for plenty of stairs - well worth it once you are unpacked.

Very relaxing little spot right on the water. Favorite part was the rocking chairs on the porch and watching the chipmunks, ducks, and birds.

The location was great, so close to the water! Loved hearing the waves at night. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire. And having kayaks to use was great!

Much needed escape. Perfect and simple home right on the lake. Fall asleep to the sound of the lake. No frills perfection.
