Hector is located just over 20 miles west of Ithaca, on the eastern shores of Seneca Lake. It’s the largest of the Finger Lakes—67 square miles—and the deepest in the state of New York. Sprinkled around Hector are the landmarks of this area: vineyards and state parks.
The Seneca Lake Wine Trail is the largest of the region, featuring tastings and events at dozens of wineries, as well as breweries, cider houses, a distillery, and meadery.
