This is a great place to visit! It is such a nice, quiet, and relaxing cabin when you want to get away. The kitchen is stocked with anything we want to use. The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy. There are fun games, books, and televisions to occupy some time when needed. The spacious hot tub is a nice bonus, as well! Our favorite part is sitting on the wrap around porch nestled in the trees. There are multiple area wineries, breweries, and restaurants we enjoy nearby. In addition, we always enjoy checking out the shops in Blue Ridge. We look forward to visiting the next time!

Papa Bear's Den was just what I was looking for! The perfect spot for relaxation and unwinding! The porch with it's amazing rocking chairs is so inviting. Perfect for curling up with a good book. Being pet friendly made it the perfect spot for our WHOLE family to enjoy being “unplugged”. The owner's clearly work to make the space welcoming with a great supply of board games for family game night! It was close enough to downtown Blue Ridge, Ellijay and other great spots while at the same time allowing us to feel removed from the world. We enjoyed hiking and had a great time playing in the creek behind the property. We will definitely be back!! If you're looking for the perfect mountain getaway, Papa Bear's Den definitely fits the bill!

We've been to Papa Bear's Den several times and our family and friends love it as much as we do. It is clean and comfortable, with all the things you need to cook, grill, launder, rest, read, and relax on the porch or hop in the hot tub. It's quiet, peaceful, yet not far from great fishing and other water activities with good restaurants nearby. We always enjoy going into town with the nice shops, good eats, and our favorite is the Blue Ridge Train ride. It goes from Blue Ridge, along the Toccoa River to Copperhill, TN and McCaysville, GA. The majority of the local wineries are also fun with good stuff.

Cute cabin, clean, close to road but didn't feel like it. Easy to get too, lots of room, loved the hot tub. Porch was great for morning coffee.

We did a recent visit to the Blue Ridge area and stayed at this great cabin. It's very clean and well maintained, with a complete kitchen and all the cooking/grilling supplies you need. There's a beautiful porch with rocking chairs and a serene view which is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee. The location is close to tubing, rafting, fishing, and some good restaurants. It's also close to some fabulous wineries, beautiful parks, train rides, some shopping, and many good tourist attractions.

I happen to be a frequent guest at Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals and I must say that the service is always Excellent. I must say that this particular cabin that I stayed at this past weekend was by far the best. Beautiful Mountain View’s, very private and comfortable and more than anything, it was very relaxing and cozy. The name of this Awesome Cabin is Drifting Feathers!!
This was the second time my wife and I stayed at this cabin. We had an absolute blast. The geographically set in the perfect location with a ton of options for outdoor fun and also had a lot of great activities and games to play while cozying up by the fire. Super clean cabin! Highly recommend staying here!
This cabin was perfect for our annual couples trip! The cabin was very cozy, clean, and spacious! Kitchen had all of the necessary amenities to make a large meal! The views are stunning and it was so relaxing to light the fireplace and take it all in! Good proximity into town with a very helpful binder of local restaurant menus and activities! We will definitely be back and highly recommend!
We loved it, already planning a trip next year. It was cold so we went into town during the day and enjoyed the fireplace and played board games at night. The cabin is amazing and dog friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed girls weekend. What a perfect place to get away with lots of wineries and breweries close by, many local places to eat with great food and a comfortable, quiet place to kick back and relax. We used the wrap around porch, hot tub and fire place nightly. Keep up the great work with this place and we will surely be back.
The toilet paper and paper towels were orphanage-grade and there wasn’t enough of either. We liked everything. The fireplace and hot tub were amazing!

Excellent experience for our whole group! I was concerned, if not worried, about fitting 21 persons ages 11 to 59 in a cabin, but to our delight, it surpassed our expectations. Accommodation was easy and very comfortable. Location and view were majestic and so convenient! Secluded but not far from main road and town. 4x4 is convenient for the gravel road, but not absolutely necessary. None of our four vehicles was 4x4. Super clean and ready for us. Game room was ideal for the kids at night. Thanks so much to the owners and Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals for allowing us to enjoy this wonderful property!

We’re at Papa Bear Cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. for a week. This cabin has ALL the comforts of home. This is a fully equipped cabin with a full kitchen, fireplace, a screened porch with a hot tub, a beautiful porch upstairs where you can relax with beautiful scenery. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and the downstairs bedroom area has it’s own television, games, books and movies. There’s also a laundry room. There isn’t very much you will lack here. It’s very clean and cozy. Close to many, many things to do. Blue Ridge, Ellijay, and Blairsville are all full of great things to do and see. The mountains are amazing. You’re going to love it.
This was our 4th visit and it won’t be the last.
LOVED EVERY MINUTE! Just going to keep saying it... Papa Bears Den was wonderful! I wish we'd stayed for more than a quick weekend but I loved every minute. Extremely clean, just off a paved road, fully equipped kitchen, fire pit, hot tub, anything you'd need. We'll be back. :)
Peaceful yet lots to do if you care to venture both outside and downtown.
Papa Bear’s Den is perfectly equipped to suit an family getaway, girls weekend or couples retreat! There’s plenty of space indoors with living areas on two levels ideal for game night or watching sports. When you’re ready to enjoy to outdoors, the rocking chairs on the wraparound covered porch boast a view that can’t be beat. Wonderful shopping and dining are just a short scenic drive away down the mountain and, don’t miss out on the local wineries...Amazing! Evening is the best time to enjoy the hot tub on the lower screened in porch. This cabin honestly has it all!!
The cabin is clean and comfortable enjoyed using the grill on the deck making our dinners and having our cocktails would go back again in a heartbeat and will .
