Charming Jacuzzi-Suite walking distance to Parson's Beach

Welcome to our Home-Away-from-Home scenic cottage! It features everything you need for a beach vacation: comfortable living space, bedroom, double-jacuzzi tub, full kitchen, and a back patio where you'll hear the waves in the evening. The beautiful Shorelands' grounds also include a community pool, hot tub, grills, fireplace, and playground for kids.

Our favorite activity is walking the 0.5 miles to the secluded Parson's Beach to enjoy the sand and surf. Parson's beach is a favorite among locals, but with very limited beach parking, our cottage enjoys the closest walking access.

What's nearby:
Head into Kennebunkport's Dock Square for dining and shopping: just drive 2.5 miles to downtown.
Webhannet Golf & Edgecomb Tennis Clubs are only two miles from your front door.
Take the trolley to Wells and Ogunquit for amazing dining, shopping, and entertainment. The Shoreline Explorer trolley has a stop at Shorelands Resort.
The hiking trails of Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge are a little more than a mile down the road.

Vacation like a local with our guide to must-eats & visit:
Coffee: Dock Square Coffee House & The Blue.
Seafood: Cape Pier Chowder House & Barnacle Billy's.
A Drink Out: Old Vines Wine Bar & The Ramp.
Breakfast: Boulangerie & Loveshack Juicery.
Don't Miss: A sub from Bennett's & ice cream from Big Daddy's.
A Nice Dinner: Bandaloop & The Front Porch.
Lighthouses: Nubble Light & Portland Head Light.
Beaches (beside ours): Mother's Beach is great for kids with a playground overlooking the water, Gooch's Beach for long walks and spotting surfers & Drake's Island Beach is just down the road and never too crowded.

This cottage has a terrific location with a short and pretty walk to Parsons Beach and the mouth of the Mousam River. It was a very short drive to Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells, and Ogunquit. It is small but cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The unit was clean and neat. The kitchen had good appliances and all the basics. The whirlpool/shower unit was nice though we did not try out the jacuzzi feature.

We noted small negatives. The sofa was not very comfortable to sit on. There is a chicken coop nearby and the rooster crows fairly early. Fortunately, the bedroom seemed very quiet.

Overall, we had a terrific time here and the cottage was a great home base to explore the area.

We loved this cottage. Stayed 2 nights in July, in unit 36. Comfy beds, clean, plenty of towels, amazing jacuzzi tub, great kitchen, and I could keep going on. Vacasa was easy to work with. Thank you!

We love Parsons Beach so this cottage is so convenient. Pet friendly is a bonus.

The Cottage was located between Wells and Kennebunk. Easy to get everywhere. Can walk to Parsons Beach and to the Bridal Path. Quiet and just enough space for what we needed. Nicely painted, good heating/cooling system, huge fridge/freezer, great little deck. Bonus was the beach parking pass. Highly recommend Shorelands for a stay with a dog. Only downsides: Dining room chairs were uncomfortable (we used the deck chairs), microwave is tiny.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Suzanna. We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement, and we'll pass your comments to the owner for consideration. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!
