The hotel is too expensive and too old

The worse mattress in history, but we had the most wonderful time. Accommodations were fabulous but my husband slept on the couch it was so bad. Sank in the middle. Had to roll in and roll out. Miserable..........

First of all, I love Beaver Creek. It's always been my happy place. I selected this as the destination for my husbands birthday get away. I had taken considerable time and had lengthy conversations with one of your hotel reservationists. Unfortunately there was a mix up once we checked in. The next day when I mentioned it to the gal at the front desk she was clueless and insisted I had made my reservation via Expedia which I hadn't. Upon check out this same person could not furnish me with a receipt and insisted Expedia would be sending. She suggested if I ever wanted to make reservation again to call the hotel directly which was what I had done. She proceeded to give me the card of the General Manager and said this would be the number to call. I didn't feel confident she knew what she was doing.
