Enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated, comfortable home for a much-needed socially distanced escape. Rented a golf cart, which made getting around much more convenient (and fun!). Would have liked more TP, hand soap, dish washing soap, grill tools and an oven mit. Also, the grill is a flat top style, which was good for burgers, but not as good for steaks. We'll be back!

This house was a perfect place for our 3 families, including 2 almost 3 year olds and a 15 month old. The house was very clean, well designed with a well stocked kitchen where we prepared all of our meals.. The beach was not crowded and an easy walk, we did not take advantage of Pointe West beach pool and club to avoid interactions with others. The wagon provided was a help for lugging things to the beach, we brought a sun umbrella which helped with shade. We would love to stay here again as what a wonderful family escape that provided social distancing!

This house was everything we hoped for and more- our family group had a great time.
The house was very clean and nice- we enjoyed sitting on the covered Patios/balconies, going to the ‘Beach Club’ pool area, and hanging out at the beach (about 3-400 yards from the house). The house was new, up to date and clean with nice furniture and appliances. Our 3 and 4 year olds loved the bunk beds!

This is a beautiful home and convenient to the beach. It is just a couple of minutes to walk to the beach entry. The kitchen was well-stocked for meals—it even had a margarita machine and a Kitchen Aid mixer (we did not use). The outdoor spaces are nice and there were beach chairs, a wagon, and sand toys for the beach. Beach towels were also provided. We loved the amenities at the Beach Club!
Be aware that the location is about 30 minutes outside of Galveston. We intentionally chose this location due to the private beach and wanted a quiet getaway. Make sure you stock up before arriving, as it does take time to go back into town.
We did have a couple of issues. The smoke detectors in the house kept going off randomly, even after we replaced the batteries. That was fun! We had to get batteries and find a ladder. After two days of this, we finally unplugged the one that was flashing red and it stopped. Also, we found loose hair still on all the bathroom floors (I’m blonde, the hair was dark.) and crumbs on the placemats on the dining table. There was even a loose playing card under one of them, so they obviously had not been moved to clean under them. We cleaned and sanitized it ourselves. Last, they provided extra pillows, but we never located the extra pillowcases for them. We checked everywhere—drawers, cabinets, etc. Luckily, we had brought a couple of pillows from home.
Here is our biggest complaint—you can’t get ahold of anyone if there is an issue. We reached out to Vacasa right away, but couldn’t get in contact with anyone. Call wait times were ridiculous (we gave up at 1 hour bc we did not want to spend our vacation on hold). We emailed them and we still haven’t gotten a reply. These were the only methods of contact info we received. There was not a place in the app to report a problem. Luckily, all our issues were easily solved on our own.
