Within, your temporary home is a unique blend of contemporary and traditional. The fireplace is built from vintage brick and crowned with a reclaimed Victorian mantelpiece. A vintage-style gilt mirror offsets the stylish black-and-white tile in the spacious bathroom, which features a double-headed walk-in shower.

Curl up in the king-size bed for two and watch a movie on the flatscreen TV, or warm your toes by a crackling fire. WiFi is provided, as is cable TV. A distinctive wrought-iron headboard adds some drama and romance to your space. Feeling indulgent? Take a glass of wine outside and savor it in your private hot tub.

A kitchenette includes a coffee bar, mini-fridge, and microwave, so you can enjoy that late-night snack or first pot of coffee and the provided light breakfast without leaving home. A cornucopia of cuisine, from laid-back Tex-Mex to traditional German fare, is just steps from your door.

In between date nights, don't forget to explore historic Fredericksburg's Pioneer Museum Complex, Sauer Beckmann Living History Farm, or gorgeous Windseed Farms, where wildflowers abound. Old Tunnel State Park and Enchanted Rock State Natural Area are great destinations for hikers and mountain bikers.

Whether you're excited to sample a Texas Hill Country Cabernet, explore Old Tunnel State Park, or simply luxuriate in your private hot tub while listening to the babble of Barons Creek, you'll find yourself returning to this cottage again and again. Book your trip today!

Such a peaceful and wonderful place to stay. Can’t wait to come back!!

I would definitely pick this place again. Right on Main Street and barely a 10 minute walk to the 290 Wine Shuttle.

Very charming room! Great location. Loved the property. My only complaint was that the bed wasn’t too comfortable. Otherwise, it was nice to have a mini fridge for drinks and the hot tub was a great plus!

The lodging was a great little cabin. Right in downtown. Loved that we parked the truck Friday. Didn’t have to drive it again til we left. Everything is with in walking distance. WiFi could be better, but everything else was awesome!

Wonderful quiet retreat. Highly recommend for a quick trip to wine country, walking distance to everything downtown had to offer.

This room was great! From the personal Jacuzzi to a mini continental breakfast already in the room. It was only a short walk to everything that is in downtown. I definitely would recommend these rooms to anyone planning a trip to Fredericksburg. Even just sitting on the front porch of these cottages is pleasant with the water fountain that runs down the middle of the property.

My only complaint is about the coffee maker LOL. If you are going to have a Kurig machine available just provide KCups. The "reusable" KCups that you add coffee grounds to yourself just make brown water. Just leave a regular coffee pot, or provide actual KCups for the Kurig.

Because I do t want it booked when I want to come back! :). Seriously, it was awesome. Quiet, the perfect room for 2 and the breakfast pastry was DELICIOUS! The location is perfect and the property is cute as can be. They have a very well appointed “kitchen” for how small the place is....
Loved it!

The Ella is a pretty cottage with beautiful decor and style. We enjoyed the fireplace and ambience immensely, and the wine fridge in our kitchenette was great for the wine and snacks we brought. The outdoor seating and hot tub were terrific for enjoying the outdoor ambiance. Our only wish would be for a better mattress, as the bedding was nice but the mattress was too firm for our taste. A memory foam topper would have been perfect!

Just what my wife and I needed to get away from home. Surprised her with a Fredericksburg trip, booked this based on preview reviews. Definitely pleased. Hot tub was perfect for the evenings too. Will book again.

Probably our best trip yet to FBG! We loved our stay in the Helena cabin!!! We have stayed here a number of times and won't stay anywhere else!!! It is centrally located so you can walk every where and close to all the fun places to see and shop!! The hosts are gracious and kind! The grounds are gorgeous and the cabins are beautiful, decked out and very clean!! You cannot find a better place!!!

This is our 2nd year in a row to visit Fredericksburg and stay in the Ella Cottage. It is the perfect place to stay...walking distance from everything, private parking, hot tub, and the cutest & cleanest cottage. HIGHLY recommend except the 2nd week of March when we plan to go again. :)

My wife and I took a vintage car road trip from Houston to Fredericksburg and back. it was a great weekend and the fantastic accommodations were top shelf. we looked around and really thought these cottages were the very best in town. I am not sure about what the places are like outside of walking distance but I feel confident that these are the best in town. Close to everything and very quiet. Perfect location, great parking and very secure and private.

This was a lovely quaint place! The location was great & the cottage we stayed at was nothing short of amazing. Very clean and beautiful inside and out. The jacuzzi was an awesome bonus! Perfect for an anniversary getaway. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The lady gave us a folder with a map of Fredericksburg, guides, and tons of recommendations- which was much appreciated btw. Overall, we had a great stay and I'd recommend this place to anyone!

P.S. They leave a fresh batch of cinnamon rolls in the rooms and let me just say- they are SO GOOD! thank you to whoever does this kind gesture :-)

This place was wonderful. Walking distance to everything on Main Street which is extremely important if you like to drink while you shop:) The Ella room was perfect. Plenty of room and the hot tub was a great bonus. Couldn't think of a better place to stay if you can afford it.

We stayed in the Ella for two nights and had a wonderful time. Of course we came to see the sights, but we prefer to pay a little extra to have excellent accommodations. Loved having our own private little cottage, fireplace, and nice king bed. The best part of all was the private hot tub!!!

Definitely will stay here again when we come back or the big guest house!

We loved our stay in the Ella and will most definitely return! Private location, beautifully-appointed cottage, walking distance to Main Street, gas fireplace, and more. We can't wait to return for another weekend at the Ella!
