Cozy log cabin in beautiful surroundings - perfect for couples

Give your special someone the quiet, relaxing romantic vacation they deserve with this lovely log cabin on Whidbey Island! With a lovely rustic atmosphere, you may never want to leave this incredible Washington home.

This cabin for two is just south of the tiny town of Greenbank, located on a 25-acre secluded forest property with four other nearby cabins. After dropping off some groceries from the Greenbank Store, step outside and admire the swaying trees and lush ferns. Bring a few breadcrumbs and watch the ducks frolic on the pond.

The interior of your new home away from home matches the authentic wooden exterior. Gorgeous wood walls, artwork, and other decorative touches create an atmosphere that lets you leave all your worries behind. You'll even have a wood-burning stone fireplace.

Two guests can stay in this open one-bedroom retreat, with a cushy queen-size bed just steps from the shower and massive soaking tub in the bathroom. Once you wake up, start the day right with breakfast whipped up in the compact but well-equipped kitchen. Take a seat on the sofa or nearby armchair and stay entertained with cable TV.

There are five cabins on the property and all can be rented together if you have a group of 16!

When you're ready to head out, you have plenty of great choices. Whidbey Island is dotted with several small beaches, far away from city noise and uncomfortable crowds. After a long walk on the shore, head back into the car and start visiting some nearby towns. And if you want to set up surf lessons, tours, transfers, chefs, or massages your local operations manager will help you make arrangements.

Freeland is seven miles to the south, with bustling Coupeville 12 miles northward. Anacortes is just 30 miles further, and lets you take a ferry to the San Juan Islands and Victoria, Canada!

Save your dates today and treat the person that matters most to something truly special!

Rustic, quiet and quaint. I needed a little R&R and this was perfect!

Although the furnishings are older and dated, the cabin is cozy and comfortable. The best by far is the bed! I have a temperpedic and while most inner spring mattresses don't compare with the comfort, this bed was pretty amazing. I also truly enjoyed the woodstove once I figured out how to operate the damper. I do wish there was internet, but I enjoyed unplugging for a few days.

New carpet was very nice .....Very nice setting and private. The Carriage Cabin Needs maintenance in a few areas.
Manager Response:
We always appreciate feedback that will help us make improvements. Thanks!

These cabins were very cute, romantic and the grounds were very secluded and private. I would not recommend staying in the Carriage house. The room smelt very musty, the ceiling had water damage and the sky lights were dirty with spider webs. We also discovered spiders in the tub on two different occasions. The room was clean with bedding and towels but the coffee pot had an old coffee filter with moldy coffee grounds.
Manager Response:
We apologize for the oversights with housekeeping and will remind them to check the coffee maker and keep an eye out for spider webs. This is an older cabin made mostly of cedar so it smells of the woods. We are very cautious about using pesticides, and because of the wooded habitat there will be spiders in the area. Thanks!
