The location was gorgeous, and the cabin was very nicely appointed.
We met the owner's brother, a very nice man.
As the property details state, just be aware that there are some steep stairs (114 steps) from the parking area to the cabin. (Don't forget your keys when you leave your car - like I did 😳.)
The home has stunning floor to ceiling windows with the most beautiful sunrise from the master bedroom. Decorated with a PNW nautical vibe the home has tons of character and direct access to the beach, our niece really enjoyed beach combing! Additionally, the kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty to do locally. We highly recommend visiting the Kingston Ale House just a few minutes away and Point No Point in Hansville about 30 mins north. Special setting!
If you love a peaceful water view, Moon Cabin is what you're seeking. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up to the gentle sounds of the waves and seeing wildlife right below our windows including otters and porpoises. When the tide was out, we also enjoyed walking along the expansive beach.
The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. It's obvious that a lot of care was taken in choosing materials for this cabin. There are throw blankets thoughtfully provided so that you can snuggle on the expansive patio as the sun goes down.
We were glad that we followed the suggestion for renting an all wheel drive vehicle as the driveway to the parking area is very steep. The steps down to the property are also steep and there are a lot of them. That said, they're totally worth the treck.
