Couples and small families alike should take note of this lovely cabin for their next Whidbey Island getaway. Between perks like the gorgeous natural surroundings and all the nearby attractions, your next Washington getaway might be so nice that you never want to head back home!
Set on 25 acres along with four neighboring cabins, this home for two is less than a mile south of the humble town of Greenbank. Everything from picking up groceries to taking a stroll at the nearby beach is quick and easy.
Awaiting you back home is a truly serene location with tall green pines swaying in the breeze. Admire the rustling ferns from the seat on the cabin's covered porch, or take a seat at the rocking bench by the duck pond as the kids feed the birds.
A cabin through and through, this home has a rustic charm that will make you smile. Log walls and ceiling beams, a wood fireplace, matching furnishings, and historic photographs and advertisements mingle with modern touches. Soft carpeting on the floors will relax your feet, while the couch provides a great vantage point for both cable on the flatscreen TV and relaxing as you browse the free WiFi. On cold nights, fire up the woodstove to stay nice and toasty!
The cozy kitchen has all the basics you need to turn fresh ingredients from the Greenbank Store into delicious meals. The table for two by the windows is perfect for a romantic dinner thanks to its views of the duck pond. A gas grill is also available when you're in the mood for a cookout.
Four guests (two adults) are welcome in this one-bedroom home, with a spacious king-size bed in the bedroom. There is also a loft area with two twin mattresses for the kids (please note, loft access is via steep stairs and might not be suitable for very young children). Start the morning right with a shower in the bathroom (or a bath in the soaking tub - you're on vacation!) before you head out and explore!
There are five cabins on the property and all can be rented together if you have a group of 16!

If you're visiting with youngsters, take them to Coupeville 12 miles to the north - the seaside town has several restaurants for a nice lunch out, and galleries to nurture your little one's artistic side. Thirty miles further north is Anacortes and with it a ferry landing to let you explore everywhere from Victoria, Canada to the San Juan Islands.
